For this, you will have to wipe the walls with warm water. Use a sponge for wiping the water on the wall. This will loosen the paste and will also help in peeling the wallpaper in a uniform manner. Allow the water to be on the walls for a few minutes so that the paste absorbs the water completely. The next step is to remove the wallpaper. You can use a spatula for scrapping the stubborn ones. In a gallon of water, add a cup of white vinegar. Coat the walls with this wallpaper removal solution. You can use a spray bottle or a sponge for this purpose. Wipe this solution off after a span of 10 minutes. Wiping will remove the excess glue present on the wall and it will help in the removal of stubborn wallpapers.

With a utility knife, you will have to score the wallpaper. This will allow the moisture present behind the wallpaper to loosen the glue. Wipe the wall with extremely hot water. You can make use of a paint roller for distributing the water evenly. This will peel off the wallpaper. If it does not peel off, then you will have to repeat the process. For removing the remaining wallpaper, you can use a paint spatula. In order to remove the stubborn adhesive, you can wipe the walls with a damp sponge.
