Virtually Unvirtual
Staying Real in The Internet Age
Call me old fashioned
But I would rather
Keep my presence
In this world
Than that other
Virtual world
Where everything is staged
And presented on pages
That beg the phrase
Why not go Hollywood
And release a PR kit
You’ve thought it all through
To make it a hit
YouTube, I’ll watch you on it
Facebook, Thanks for the info
Myspace, So that’s what you’re up to
Chatrooms, I’d rather chat in a room
Call me old fashioned
You want to see me
Appear at my doorstep
I won’t be on TV
Nor on the computer screen
It’ll just be me
In person
In fashion
Or not
You’ll see
But I would rather
Keep my presence
In this world
Than that other
Virtual world
Where everything is staged
And presented on pages
That beg the phrase
Why not go Hollywood
And release a PR kit
You’ve thought it all through
To make it a hit
YouTube, I’ll watch you on it
Facebook, Thanks for the info
Myspace, So that’s what you’re up to
Chatrooms, I’d rather chat in a room
Call me old fashioned
