Chapter 2
I looked at Alicia. "Go on. Besides, I want to eat my hotdog," she said. So, I went away with Hanna. I don't really like to be with her friend actually. She's too famous and everyone treated her like that. That's why she didn't always talk to me. She also treated me like I'm not her best friend.
Even though I'm unhappy with her, I still wanted to be friends with her. I wanted our friendship became tighter. But what made it loose; she also loved Dany, the same boy who I loved. She told me that herself. I don't want to disappoint her so I kept my secret from her.
Then, I saw Dany. I pulled Hanna with me. "Come on. If you want him to be yours, let's go!" I said to her. But actually, it's a lie. It's me who wanted to see him.
Next morning, I wanted to go recess alone. I saw Dany. He always surrounded by girls. Well, he was the most popular after all. I stopped walking and stared at them. I smiled. What if I'm one of those girls there? What would it feel? Ahh...
Someone hit me. "Hey!" I said. "Don't think you can be with him," she whispered. She walked towards Dany. 'She' was Adeline, the one who I hated the most. I don't know what kind of expression should I make! I only blushed. I ran to Alicia at her locker. I told her about what just happened.

"Violet," Dany said softly. Alicia pulled my hand. "Violet, what's wrong?" She asked. I glared at Dany and Adeline. Hearing Alicia calling my name, I started to calm down. "Nothing," I said to Alicia. I pulled my hand away and walked to my desk.
I crossed my arms on the table. I put my head on it. I looked at Alicia and Dany. Seems like Dany was telling her something.
The school bell rang. I packed my things into my bag and walked away. Alicia saw me left her behind. 'Hmm... she usually wait for me,' she said in her mind.

The footsteps approached with such speed. He stopped in the middle of a bridge and looked at the sun. It had turned red as the sky turned orange. It was evening yet the sun was setting. He continued running to a house.
He knocked the door and was panting breathlessly. A woman opened the door. "Oh, who this might be?" She asked. "I'm a friend of Violet. I'm Dany. Have you seen Violet?" He replied. She said, "Even though I'm her mother, I also don't know where she is. She hasn't come back from school. It's already late." Dany thanked my mother and continued searching for me. "Why is he looking for Violet? Well, never mind," my mother said to herself.
I sat on a swing. I swung the swing slowly. The playground was like a ghost town. There's no one here except me. "Hmph!" I said. That Adeline, saying things about me without even knowing me, she was very stupid. I grasped my hand tightly. If I could just - "Violet!" Someone called out my name.
