Creatures of the night =) About a girl vampire slayer and one day she'll meet someone...<3. Stella means star. Remus means unknown.
She walked up to one of the most dangerous places, she had her stakes, sharpened and ready, put neatly, hidden in her black, camo pants. She also hid some silver trinkets, just in case, and a small vile of holy water tucked carefully into her pocket. She smiled, unable to keep her heart from thumping hard from the adrenaline rising.
One of those creatures was out here, sinking its fangs on the innocent poor girl who lay limp in arms, her face was filled with pleasure, brown hair spilled over the side of her shoulder. Stella looked at the guy who drunk in deeply, she recognized his blonde, wavy hair, his jaw looked as if it were cut out from marble, perfect, even, and sexy. Of course, that was how vampires drew you in, charm, looks, influences, that kind of crap which she did not buy. If he weren't a vampire, she might have wanted him, she wouldn't mind but this was strictly business, her duty, and life.
She needed to exterminate these foul creatures of the night, return them to where they belong.
This was what she had trained for her whole life, all that hard work, blood, pain, aching body...which has paid off; for these moments, where it would have made her proud.
"I'm totally ready" she assured herself, thinking of the long sessions she had training with her comrades.
She slipped her stake out, thought again and slipped it right back in her pocket; it was easier to kill a vampire when they were drinking your blood, off guard, than engage into a fight so soon.
The girl, she had seen with the flowing brown hair was dropped to the ground, Remus...Stella hissed furiously, mentally.
"Stella" he looked up, mesmerized for one moment of her beauty then returned to his welcoming gaze, but his eyes remained cold.
She smiled, shutting her mind off to him, creating a barrier, protecting against him from peering into her mind. He only found out her name that was all she would let him know; she kept smiling, giggling, pretending she was a normal girl who didn't know vampires existed. All she knew, as a high school girl was that he was handsome, and she liked him. Playing the part was sort of hard when you knew this guy was a blood-sucking fiend.
Stella started walking towards him as he stayed where he was, smiling, the lights from the house reflected his pale skin, making it seem warmer toned.
"Hi Stella, I'm Remus" he said politely, his tone was seductive, with a small Romanian accent; drawing prey to him. She walked closer to him, feeling his fake breathing against her fair skin; she detested how close she was to this thing. "I wouldn't mind if you'd accompany me to the party my friend is hosting" he smiled, eyes dark, "I love the night, I'd rather stay out here, the stars are so beautiful, I am interested in astrology actually." She smiled, trying to give an innocent vibe "frankly my dear, I am not very much, I am more interested in you" he came forward to her, folding his arms around her, gently kissing her neck softly then a sharp pain eased in, it is time her mind said.
She wasn't as affected, yet she did feel pleasure from the bite, but it started hurting as she resisted, she was a bit clumsier getting her weapon out. She fumbled getting out her wooden stake, she held it more firmly now, she didn't dare move, she was afraid she might accidentally get him suspicious, or notice something was wrong. She slowly lifted it near his heart, not close enough for him to feel it yet; she breathed slowly then yanked it into his heart. He pushed her away now, his mouth smeared with her blood "you bitch!" he yelled, looking at the stake in his heart, he slowly kneeled to the ground, wincing from the pain then his whole body slumped to the ground going rigid as his skin turned ghostly white.
"Well Remus, guess you didn't expect a pretty little think like me would be...a vampire slayer" she grinned broadly, then groaned a little, starting to feel the pain from the bite increasing.
She gently rubbed her neck, blood was now smeared on her hand "and you are such a bastard." She watched his eyes for the last time turning all white. "You could have made it more entertaining if you'd put more of an effort into the fight" she said, knowing he would never hear that last part, but she just had to say it for her own satisfaction.
