Vegan Pancake Recipe

The most common reasons for people to turn into vegans are health issues, concern for animal welfare and environment while the most important reason is religious sentiment. Since vegans led such kind of lifestyles, they have limited options when it comes to food and desserts. Keeping in mind the vegan preferences when it comes to food, I have listed various recipes of vegan pancakes which will suit to the vegan diet.
Vegan Pancake Recipe from Scratch
Ingredients
- Flour, 1 cup
- Baking powder, 2 tbsp
- Sugar, 1 tbsp
- Vegetable oil, 2 tbsp
- Salt, 1 tbsp
- Soy milk, 1 cup
- Add the baking powder, flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl and mix well.
- Now pour soy milk and oil and beat all the ingredients until you get a smooth batter.
- Drop 1/3 of the batter on a well-greased frying pan over medium heat. When you see some bubbles on the surface of the pancake, flip it and cook the other side for few minutes. Take it out in a plate and enjoy your pancake.
Ingredients
- Baking powder 1/5 cup
- Self-raising flour, 1 cup
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Water, 2 cups
- Salt to taste
- In a bowl add all the ingredients and mix until a smooth batter is formed.
- Heat a lightly greased skillet on medium flame.
- Pour a ladle of the batter on the skillet and make sure the batter spreads out evenly.
- When you notice some bubbles on the pancake, flip it and cook the other side for few minutes.
- Serve hot pancakes with vegan maple syrup and enjoy this delicious and easy recipe.
Ingredients
- Custard powder, 1 tbsp
- Self rising flour, 4 cups
- White sugar, 1 tbsp
- Soy milk, 2 cups
- In a large bowl add flour, sugar, custard powder and mix well. Now pour the soy milk with a whisk, so that there are no lumps and mix till the batter is smooth.
- Heat a griddle on medium heat and coat it with nonstick cooking spray. Pour batter on the surface of the griddle evenly.
- When bubbles begin to form on one side, flip it and cook the other side until it gets golden.
