Vanessa Hudgens & Zac Efron Split?

It was reported last week that Hudgens was spotted at a party in the Hollywood Hills while her on-screen and off-screen beau was in Europe promoting the film Hairspray. According to a source Hudgens was "all over" her date, an older guy, and when someone asked about Efron she "threw a fit" and said "’don’t mention his name!’" Now it has been reported that Efron called it quits on the relationship because of the nude photos of Hudgens that surfaced earlier this month.

Efron was reportedly urged to stand by Hudgens even after it was rumored that before she hit it big with HSM she had sent the naked photo of herself to Drake Bell, the star of Nickelodeon’s Drake&Josh. S friend of Efron’s said, "Zac ended it." The friend said he was very upset by the pictures and his people urged him to be "supportive" of Hudgens until talk died down. A friend of his said he "dumped her" as soon as he could.

It has also been reported that this is not the first time that the couple has split. Allegedly Efron breaks up and makes up with Hudgens as often as some people change their shirts. Maybe they are just too young to have a serious relationship. With the sudden fame and fortune it must be hard not to let it go to your head. High School Musical and High School Musical 2 have been such big hits that the cast is in talks for a third television movie and possible a big screen version. There has been no official word yet if Hudgens will be asked to surprise her role as Gabriella Montez.
