Vanessa Hudgens - High School Musical Scandal
High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has confirmed that a nude photo making its way around the Internet is a picture of her that has not been doctored in any way.

The racy photo hit the Internet leaving many to wonder if the picture was of Hudgens or if it has been doctored to make her look naked. Hudgens confirmed today that the picture is an actual photo of her. Hudgens said via her rep Jill Fritzo, "This was a photo which was taken privately. It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that this has become public." There has been no other comment about when, where, or why she posed for the picture. The actress celebrates her 19th birthday in December and is currently romantically involved with her High School Musical co-star Zac Efron, 19.
Hudgens, Efron and the rest of the HSM cast just finished promoting the sequel to the hit TV musical. The cast is reportedly in negotiations for a third installment. There have been rumors that Hudgens will not be asked to return in the wake of the picture scandal, but her rep said that "is not true." The Disney Channel did not comment on the scandal, but a rep has reportedly denied rumors that Hudgens’ character would be replaced for the third movie.
HSM2 was reportedly the most watched television program on any channel in the past three months. The soundtrack has also been the best selling in the nation since it hit the stands last month. Along with a third television installment, the cast is allegedly in talks to star in a version of the film that has reportedly been tentatively titled Haunted High School Musical which would be released in the theaters.
