Vampire Wedding Ch 1(Rewrite)
Meghan shoved her way to the crowded dance floor and tried her best to look through bodies that were crushed together gyrating to the music. When she still couldn’t find her friend Emily she sighed and decided to wait for her at their table.
Her boyfriend dumped her two weeks ago so Emily suggested they go to this new club Kisses that had just opened. Thinking back on it Meghan decided that was the worst thing she could have did. She hadn’t even wanted to come but Emily pestered her.
"Come on Meggs," Emily had said. "Now’s the perfect time to show that you’ve gotten over Jeff. We’ll go to Kisses, have a couple of drinks, dance with hot guys, then come back to the dorm and go to sleep. A perfect Saturday night."
"I don’t know Em," Meghan had said. "We have finals and I still have to study for the chemistry-"
"Meghan! You haven’t gone out since you and Jeff split. This will be fun for both of us."
So Meghan decided to go and now here she was. Her feet hurt from walking in 3 inch stilettos all night, she was tired but came here in Emily’s car so couldn’t go back to the dorm. She spent all her money on drinks and she still couldn’t find Emily.
"Could this night get any worse" she mumbled to herself. She silently took it back because the watched enough movies to know that once somebody said that the situation actually got worst.
And it did.
Meghan felt her phone vibrate in her purse that she held on her lap as she looked around for a glimpse of her friend. When she looked at the name that was calling her it was Emily.
Quickly Meghan headed to the bathroom to answer the call.
"Hello."
"Meghan?" Emily was giggling and right away Meghan didn’t like that.
"Oh my gosh. Emily, where the hell are you? I’ve been looking for you for twenty minutes." Meghan paused. "Is that a guy I hear in the background? Who is that?" Meghan’s whole speech came out in a rush. As she thought about what she went through for the last twenty minutes was making her angry.
"Yea. That-" Emily broke off then a series of giggles followed. "Stop!" then more giggles.
Meghan stamped her foot in anger. "EMILY!" she shouted into the phone. All the other ladies in the restroom looked questioningly at her but Meghan didn’t give a damn. Emily was really pissing her off.
"Yea. Um… Meghan? I-I met somebody." Emily paused.
"Ok…. Now where are you so we can get back to the dorm." Meghan paced the bathroom getting angrier and angrier with every step she took.
"Well. We already left."
Meghan saw red and then exploded.
"YOU ALREADY LEFT!?" Meghan’s breath started coming in short pants.,
"Now calm down Meghan-" Emily tried to sooth her but everything she was saying was making Meghan even more angry.
"Calm down? You want me to calm down?" Meghan asked quietly. Anyone who knew her knew that when she got quiet while she was angry knew that that was just the clam before the storm. "Why in the HELL SHOULD I BE CALM, EMILY?! First you talked me into coming to this stupid club then when we get here you leave me just because you met some guy?"
"Meghan. I know this sounds bad-" Meghan cut her off.
"How the hell am I supposed to get back to campus, Emily?"
"Well you said yourself that your parent’s house was nearby. They can take you back. I didn’t leave you helpless."
"How am I supposed to get to my parent’s house?"
"It’s only a mile you can walk it. Look Meghan, I don’t like your attitude."
This was unbelievable. "My attitude? Why you-" Meghan stopped, took a deep breath, and rolled her head back to relieve some of the tension in her neck. "You know what Emily? Goodbye" Meghan hung up and screamed.
When the ladies once again looked at her she flipped them all the bird and stormed out of the bathroom then eventually the club.
She started to walk the mile back to her parent’s house. In all her twenty years of life she never thought that this would happen to her.
The night was cold and for the first time since they had left their dorm room she was regretting wearing the mini skirt and the sleeveless top that tied around the neck.
She should have dressed warmer, but then again she didn’t know that she would have to be walking to her parent’s house at 1 am.
To make matters worse she still had to study for her chemistry test.
"Stupid club. Stupid friend. Stupid, stupid, stupid." She grumbled.
Meghan wrapped her arms around herself in an attempt to keep herself warm. Then there was a sound behind her.
Meghan stopped and listened just to make sure. Slowly she turned around and looked behind her. When she didn’t see anything she turned back around and shrugged it off.
"Maybe it was a cat or something," she mumbled to herself. In the pit of her stomach Meghan knew someone was following her and the sound of her own voice was making her feel better.
CLANG!
Meghan whipped around and looked behind her for whatever it was that made that noise.
"Who’s there?" She called out still looking around towards where she heard the nois come from. "Hello?" Still she didn’t get an answer and it was too dark to see anything.
Not convinced that it was a cat this time Meghan sped off in the direction of her parent’s house. She wasn’t running due to the stilettos, but she wasn’t quite running either.
Then she heard the footsteps. At first she tried to ignore them. Meghan figured it was just somebody that was going the same way as her, but after a block and a half of the same footsteps she started walking faster. As soon as she did the person behind her did the same.
Meghan was starting to get really scared. She knew she couldn’t run in these shoes and she doubted that if the person wanted to kidnap her he would let her take off her shoes to allow her to run.
Finally at her wits end Meghan turned around and shouted, "Why the hell are you-" her voice died down when she turned to find no one there.
She scanned the street and sidewalk, but there was nothing there. Not even a car.
"Looking for someone, love?" The soft husky voice that whispered the question in her ear caused Meghan to involuntarily shiver and it was not because of the weather.
Meghan whipped around to find a tall stranger in front of her. Unfortunately the street light wasn’t long enough to shine light into the shadow where the stranger stood. Judging by his accent he wasn’t American.
"W-what?" she asked taking a step back from him.
"Were you looking for someone? The man took another step towards her but was still in shadow. It seemed to Meghan he did that purposely.
"Oh. Um… No I just thought I heard someone behind me." Meghan took another nervous step backwards and again the stranger took another step forward.
"Hmm." Was all he said.
"Well, since there was no one there I’ll be on my way." The stranger didn’t say anything so Meghan bid him farewell and started hesitantly walking past him.
"You’re even more beautiful than I thought." That comment stopped her dead in her tracks.
"What did you say?"
"You’re beauty is enchanting, Meghan." Meghan again started her game of walking backwards.
"How did you know my name?" She tried hard to keep her voice strong and even despite the fear that was threatening to capture her.
"Now don’t fret, love. I don’t bite." He said as he still kept coming forward.
"Too hard……."

You probably already know basically what’s going to happen but remember that I am making changes if you haven’t already noticed. Like I said I will be more organized and the chapters should be posted between two and three days of each other.
