Vampire Wedding Ch 4 Rewrite
Things aren't going according to "plan".
Chapter four
Meghan was nervous as her and Ryan walked up to the front door. She lifted up the fake rock that was beside the door and took out the spare key that her mother and father had hidden.
She looked at Ryan, who gave her an affirmative nod, then took a deep breath as she opened the door.
"Mom! Dad!" she called as they entered the house. She flicked on lights as her and Ryan walked through the house.
"Which way is the kitchen?" Ryan asked looking around. He seemed interested in her house.
Meghan tried looking at her parent’s house through his eyes. It was nothing extravagant. When you first walked in you were met with a stair case directly in front of you. If you turned to the left you saw a living/family room. If you looked up towards the ceiling there was a rail/banister type thing that allowed you to look over into the living room from the upstairs. There was a fire place and a television in there.
If you looked to the right after walking in the house you saw a door by the staircase that actually led to a coat closet. Then there was a door way that led to the kitchen and dining room area.
Meghan pointed where the kitchen was as she called one more time for her parents. After the third time she finally heard someone rustling coming from the upstairs then she heard the sound of a door opening and closing.
"Why don’t you go into the kitchen and wait for me and I’ll bring my parents in when they come down." Meghan suggested. He seemed to think about it for a minute before agreeing to it.
She nodded and started to head towards the stairs but he grabbed her and brought her up against him roughly.
She gasped as her body made contact with his. Her heart beat accelerated as her he buried his hand in her hair and pulled her head back so she was looking at him. Meghan could feel his warm breath on her lips and her eyes swayed to his lips and saw that they were a scant inch above hers.
"If you’re thinking about doing something that wasn’t in the plan just remember this, you can’t run as fast as you think you can,"
Then he let her go and the spell was broken.
She had to blink a couple of times to completely clear the fog that she was in. When she finally did focus she saw his retreating figure enter the kitchen.
"Geesh. Who pissed in your cheerios?" she grumbled as she heard someone coming down the stairs. She pasted on a smile before her mother came down the stairs.
"Meghan?" her mother said astonished as she came down the stairs in her robe. "What are you doing here, it’s two o’clock in the morning?!"
"Mom I-" Meghan couldn’t even get a word in.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?"
Her mother’s worried face caused her to smile. That was one of the things that Meghan missed about her mother, her worrying.
"Mom I’m fine." She put her arm around her mother’s back and started to steer her towards the kitchen. "It’s just there’s someone I wanted you to meet."
Anna gave her daughter a puzzled look. "Couldn’t this have waited till a better time?"
"No I have to-"
"Anna? What’s going on?" Her father asked as he too made his way down the stairs.
"It’s just Meghan, Kurt." Meghan’s mother replied.
"Meghan?" Then the questions started all over. She tried to tell them that everything was fine as she led them both to the kitchen.
"Meghan I want to know what’s going on." Her parents were too busy trying to get information out of her that they didn’t notice Ryan standing next to the center island.
Meghan was feeling frustrated. Although she missed her parents worrying over her, she didn’t miss how bad they worried over her.
They always assumed the worst. This time she didn’t know whether it was bad or not.
"Mom, would you stop talking for a minute?"
"Don’t talk like that to your mother." Came her father’s gruff voice.
She let out a huge frustrated sigh and shot Ryan a pleading look. She was really annoyed. He on the other hand looked ready to burst out laughing. That earned him a haughty glare from her.
Meghan guessed he finally took pity on her because he finally cleared his throat, which caused her parents to finally shut the heck up.
Oh thank god, she thought to herself.
"Meghan…?" her mother started hesitantly. "Who is this?"
She glanced at her father who was busy studying Ryan. Ryan was doing the same thing. It looked like a stare down.
"Why don’t you two have a seat, Mom and dad?" she led them to the table.
They both gave her a confused look as they sat in two of the chairs at the table.
"Meghan, what is going on?" her father asked quietly. As he asked question he glared at Ryan who did the same thing back.
"Well-" she was cut off by Ryan.
"It’s nice to finally meet you, Anna. My parents send their greetings as well. They didn’t say how much Meghan looked like you, Anna." He paused and gave Kirk a rude once over. "It’s funny though. I don’t see an ounce of Meghan in you Kirk." he added disdainfully.
Kirk stiffened and anger flashed in his eyes. Meghan stood frozen in place as she watched Ryan continue to be rude to her parents. This was definitely not a part of the plan!
Meghan glanced at her parents to see their reactions. Her father was as stiff as a board while her mother looked extremely nervous.
What was Ryan doing

For those of you who keep questioning about the rewrites I already explained why I was doing it in the author's note. Trust me this will be better and have more stuff in it. I must warn you though there later on there will be some sexual content in my stories. I'll let you know when. If you're one of those people who don't like that type of stuff then please don't read my story and if you choose to don't send me any comments stating how you don't like it.
