Vampire Wedding Ch 3 - The Change

Chapter 3

"Oh No!" she cried out.

"Mom." Meghan said trying to stay calm. She was still in shock from the nights events. "Tell me what is going on." She knew Ryan told her but she wanted to hear her mother tell her. She thought that if Anna told her then she would be able to believe what was happenig better.

"Yeah, Anna." Ryan second. "What’s going on?" he smiled smugly at her.

"This is Ryan Villasaci, your betrothed."

Where the hell did that accent come from? Meghan thought. Her mother was now talking like him in an english turn of the century accent.

"So it’s all true." Meghan said more to herself then anybody. "It’s all true."

"Yes, love. It’s all true," Ryan confirmed. " Now that that is all settled why don’t you go get your things so that we can get going. My mom- oh I mean our mom is waiting for us to get back by tonight. She’s very anxious to see how you look."

Meghan just stood there thinking about every thing that happened then to her surprise anger took place of the shock.

"How dare you do something like this!" she exploded.

Both Ryan and Anna were shocked by Meghan’s sudden outburst. To their surprise Meghan turned to look at Anna and that let them no she wasn’t talking to Ryan
"What?" her mother asked bewildered.

"How could you not tell me about my father and all this?!" Meghan asked her voice getting louder.

"Sweety, this was before you were born. I thought that-"

"That my parents were gonna break the end of our bargin like you did, Traitor." Ryan shot at her.

"Hey! Don’t talk to my mother like that!" Meghan shouted this time at Ryan.

"Okay look!" Ryan started exasperated. He took a deep breath and ran his hand through his thick brown locks. "What is going to happen is you two will have fifteen minutes to go up stairs and pack some clothes. Then we are going back to our home where you will prepare for our mating. Got it?" No one said a word so Ryan motioned for them to go upstairs and get ready.

He kept his mind on Meghan’s so he knew if they tried anything. The only thing that she was thinking about was what her life would have been like if her mother hadn’t did what she did. He didn’t like it when she thought about her mom being conniving and a liar. No matter how mad at Anna he was he didn’t want Meghan thinking about her mom like that.

UP STAIRS…........
Meghan packed her favorite clothes and all the toiletries she thought she would need. She made sure to pack Mr. Humphry, her stuffed elephant she had since she was two, JC, her stuffed puppy she had since she was 4, Benny, her lion that she had sense she was 5, and Morgan the ballerina unicorn she had since she was born. Those four had protected her from all the monsters under her bed and any other figure that tried to harm her.

With one last look around to make sure she got everything she treasured. When she was sure all her things were together she got her things and went down stairs. She was still angry at her mom for not telling her the truth and for moving them from their home before she was born. If it weren’t for her she wouldn’t have to pack up her life and move to some place she’d never been before and live with vampires.

That thought had her trembling. Did that mean she had to become a vampire? Did it hurt to be a vampire? Was it like getting married.? Question after question popped into her head and with each question a new wave of fear, panic, and anger came with it. She hoped that her mom was really happy.

On the bright side, she thought, I will be living with a gorgeous guy. That made her almost smile
