Vaccinosis

Vaccinosis is the term used for the problems and the negative reactions that the pets get after being vaccinated. It is a very common case but it is not that spoken of because the veterinarians prefer to keep quite on this because it is them who gives the vaccines. We know that vaccination is very important for pets and we keep away from those pets that are not vaccinated against various diseases. But many believe it a truth that there is more risk in getting the pets vaccinated than not getting at all. Some animals die few days after vaccination or sometimes the pets get different kinds of abnormal conditions after getting vaccinated. Vaccinosis is the various maladies, fro allergies to cancer, that can be triggered by vaccinations. When we take our pets for vaccination we don’t do any test to check allergenic reactions or so and we also ignore the side effects of the various vaccines. These allergies and the side effects cause so many problems on the pets and the blame falls on us because we don’t take care of the details. Because many people are not aware of this problem, concerned people are doing their best to spread awareness.

We must be very careful and educated while choosing the vaccines for our pets. These are some precautions that pet owners can take before getting the pets vaccinated.
  • If you choose to vaccinate your pet with conventional vaccines, don't allow your vet to use anything but a killed vaccine or vaccines which are made by taking the real, disease-causing viruses, killing them, and putting them into a liquid base.
  • The owner must also compare 'modified live vaccine' and 'recombinant vaccine.' Modified live vaccines are considered the most dangerous by experts who think that the vaccine confuses the immune system of the pet. They have the ability to replicate and then mutate in the body.
  • Do not vaccinate for several diseases at the same time.
  • Don't vaccinate for feline leukemia as there is a great deal of evidence that this vaccine is both dangerous and ineffective.
  • Don't vaccinate if an animal is in poor health, pregnant, under¬going surgery, or especially when also receiving a corticosteroid injection for allergies.
  • If you decide to use the nosodes, the owner better contact a veterinarian who uses homeopathy in his/her practice. While most homeopathic remedies are available over-the-counter, the nosodes are available only by prescription.
