Using a Scrapbook In Your Balloon Business
Learn how using a scrapbook in your balloon business can help explain to clients what you offer and what the many possibilities are for their upcoming event.
I remember the first time I heard the term "balloon rainbow". I had no idea what this was. Words alone were just not conveying what a balloon rainbow was. When I finally saw the balloon rainbow, I was so impressed.
When planning an event, visually seeing a deep red and dark blue balloon arch is much more impressive than hearing the words. In addition to two color arches, I’ve also seen both gold and silver arches and I’ve seen arches with lights through them.
As a balloon designer, take photos of your creations. Unless a person can see a snowman made of balloons, it truly is almost impossible to imagine. Unless a person has seen green and red wreaths made of balloons, it really is hard to imagine.
Consider both an online scrapbook and an offline scrapbook. You can categorize your scrapbook into weddings, birthday parties, corporate events and bar and bat mitzvahs. You want your customers to see the items you’ve created for the exact event your customer is planning.
I’ve seen a dance floor with two balloon arches crisscrossing. Again it’s so tough to visualize without a photo.
Also consider photos of the many colors of balloons offered. Light blue or deep purple mean different things to different people.
Sometimes seeing photos helps give the event planner ideas of what they may want you to create for them.
Try a scrapbook and see if your customers are able to better make their balloon decisions when looking at photos of what they want.
