Use Self Hypnosis, Meditation and Affirmations to Build Self Confidence
How to use self hypnosis, meditation and affirmations to not only relax but build self confidence at the same time.
In addition to managing the stresses of every day life, self hypnosis, used along with affirmations, is a great technique for building your self confidence. Meditation is generally used for as a relaxation technique by helping to distract your mind from harmful thoughts and deal with painful situations. Here are two simple tips to help while you hypnotize yourself or during meditation that will aid in building your self-confidence along the way.
1- Before self-hypnotizing write down your affirmations in a journal or on an index cards. Have them in hand during this technique as you will be repeating your affirmations once you are completely relaxed. This will ensure your hypnotic state is uninterrupted and keep you more focused on totally relaxing. I suggest using a mix of your suggestions in addition to your affirmations. For example, you could say something like: "With every breath I take I am becoming more and more relaxed and I can feel myself becoming stronger and more confident. I deserve to be comfortable and I am worthy. "
2- Sit with your back straight for ten to fifteen minutes every morning before you start your day and meditate. Breathe deeply and with your eyes partially open fixate on an object above eye level. Listen to your own breath and count each and every breath. If your mind begins to wonder, bring it back to listening to your breath. Visualize yourself in a peaceful and calm place. For example, envision yourself climbing each stair as you go to the stage to accept the award for person of the year.
Begin to train your subconscious mind and body to meditate by committing ten minutes each morning for the next thirty days. Eventually, you will be able to maintain a continuously peaceful mind throughout your life. If you find it too difficult to totally relax, perhaps, you should consider purchasing meditation cds or mp3s; these will assist your efforts in achieving a totally relaxed state.
Remember: before practicing self hypnosis write down or memorize your affirmations; doing so will help keep you from being distracted and maintain your state.
