Cho Ku Rei:
This symbol denotes power and it is used to increase the levels off Reiki energy generated within. Therefore, one often sees this Reiki symbol being used at the beginning of the Reiki healing session.
Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen:
This symbol is used to transmit the Reiki energy across the globe. With this symbol, the user can send the Reiki energy to any person across the town or even the country. The meaning of the symbol is ‘The Buddha in me greets the Buddha in you’. Therefore, this symbol is used to forge a spiritual connection between the Reiki user and the recipient. This combines both the people in a state of Divine Union. It is also believed that this symbol can be sent across the time barrier. It means that the Reiki energy can be sent into the future, where the recipient can store the energy for future use or it can even be sent to the past to mend certain issues that need to be rectified. This would in turn help the way you look at your present.
Dai Ko Myo:
The Dai Ko Myo means the Master Teacher Symbol. There is the traditional master symbol and the contemporary master symbol. It also symbolizes the light of the Buddha and is used for healing the soul. It helps one to expand the barriers and enhance ones wisdom. It mainly works on the spiritual body level.
