Statistics have it that the number of unemployed US citizens have reached an all-time high in five years. However, the US border patrol says that they have 6000 vacancies available.
According to the recent statistics, the unemployment rate all across the across has reached an all time high in five years. Now that is something quite alarming for it means that there are a lot of citizens who are currently jobless and are probably depending on social welfare. Does this mean that people are having a hard time looking for jobs? Or are there really enough jobs available for everyone?
Well, it seems like there are not enough jobs. After all, in a report, the United States border patrol has disclosed that they are currently offering jobs for those who do need to get employed. And these are not just any kind of job. The US border patrol is saying that they have good job openings.
"The president has made a presidential mandate to hire 6000 agents by the end of the fiscal year," disclosed Damian White, one of the recruiters of the US Customs and Border Protection. With that kind of number, this sure would help lessen the number of jobless people in the country. The recruiter has continued to disclose that they have already hired a huge amount of the needed agents and they are still looking for around 500 more.
So what do you need to be able to qualify as a US border patrol agent? White shared, " Just a person who's able to meet the challenge of a unique law enforcement job this is not your typical law enforcement job." Sounds exciting, right?
Of course, if you are interested, you should be at least 18 years old and should be at most 39 years. You should be a citizen of the country. You should also have to pass a written exam, a physical exam, and a background check. You can get a Connecticut background check at http://www.identitypi.com/connecticut-background-check.php and see if you can be an agent. Other than these, any person interested would have to go through a basic training program which lasts for 55 days and should also have to learn the Spanish language.
