Upcoming Verizon Phones in 2012
Verizon displayed its upcoming phones in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012. Some of the phones that were displayed have been well-received by consumers. This has led to a lot of expectation on what Verizon will be coming up with in the second quarter of 2012. This article takes a look at some of the upcoming phones.
Verizon Communications is the biggest telecommunications operator in the United States, and it is also present in many other countries across the globe. The term 'Verizon' is a portmanteau of 'Veritas' and 'Horizon', and the CDMA network has more than 100 million active connections in the US as of now. Until recently, Verizon was releasing phones on all OS platforms other than the iOS (with an enhanced focus on Android), but from February 10, 2011, Verizon customers finally got access to the iPhone. Some of the Verizon phones that were showcased and announced at the CES 2012 have received rave reviews from the critics. As the year passes by, more and more phones will be announced.

Motorola Droid Fighter A couple of days ago, images of Motorola Droid Fighter were leaked on a Chinese website, and on the first look, it is hard to distinguish the phone from the recently launched Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX. It is rumored that the phone will be launched in the second week of April. While it is too early to talk about the specifications of this phone, it is believed that the phone will have similar sort of features as the Droid RAZR MAXX. The one striking feature that has got some tongues wagging out there is the mammoth 4.6" HD display. Another confirmation that we have on this phone is that it will be powered by the same 3300 mAh battery which runs the Droid RAZR MAXX. Casio G zone If your work requires you to be outdoors most of the time, then you may very well be looking forward to the Casio G zone. This phone has the distinction of being one of the sturdiest phones in the market. The phone is rumored to run on Android Froyo 2.2. Other specifications of this phone are an 8GB memory and a 5 MP camera. Not much is known about the phone as of now, but it is believed that the phone will release in the next couple of months. |
