Upcoming PSP Games 2012

If you are into handheld gaming consoles and enjoy high quality gaming on the move, then the Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable) is just the device for you. With impressive sales figures so far, the PSP has enthralled millions of gamers around the world. Four models of the PSP have been released so far. These are the original PSP (released in December 2004), the PSP-2000 (released in August 2007), the PSP-3000 (released in October 2008) and the PSP Go (released in October 2009). The latest model is known as the Sony PlayStation Vita (PS Vita or PSV), and it released in Japan on the 17th December 2011. The model is scheduled for release in other countries (US and other parts of North America) in February 2012.

There is a lot of expectation on the games that will be released in the year 2012. While some games have been officially confirmed, there are rumors going around a host of others. Let us take a look at what we may get to see in 2012 as far as PSP games are concerned.

Upcoming PSP Games: 2012

1. Grand Knights History
One of the best received games of 2011, Grand Knights History will be donning a new avatar in 2012. It entertained all of us with its sleek graphics, innovation, and the art of traditional warfare. The plot of the game is akin to the history of the warring kingdoms vying to wrest control of a landscape. Players have to choose between three kingdoms and march towards gaining control of fantasy world of Rystia. PSP's PlayStation Network allows players to fight against each other online, and win reward points and create leaderboards.

2. Hustle Kings (PS Vita)
Hustle Kings is one of the most anticipated games every time the makers decide to launch a new version. It is also one of the widely played games in the world. Like Grand Knights History, it allows users to compete against each other through the PlayStation Network.

3. Plants Vs Zombies (PS Vita)
With its launch on the PlayStation in February 2011, a long wait for PlayStation owners came to an end. The new version in 2012 promises to continue its legacy, and we may get to see a host of new features.

4. Rugby Challenge (PS Vita)
Originally developed for consoles in New Zealand and South Africa, where Rugby is immensely popular, Rugby Challenge has spread far and wide making it one of the highly-anticipated debut games of 2012.

5. Hakuoki: Demon of Fleeting Blossom
Hakuoki is essentially a story of a girl's search for her father. The plot is inquisitive, the characters connect with the users, and most importantly, the voice-overs are impressive. If "On Opposite Side of Arms" was fantastic, we are expecting the next episode will live up to the expectations.
