Unusual Celebrity Baby Names

"Unusual" is the most sought after thing now and since babies are a bundle of joy for every parent, they really want something out of the world but when it comes to celebrities and their little cutie pies they want even the name to be as jazzy as their designer clothes, they also require some designer names so that the kids stand out in the crowd. In the process of doing so they come up with such strange names at times that the kid really stands out all the time…his /her name becomes a butt of ridicule and it becomes impossible to lead a life of normalcy…it becomes difficult for them to come of their parent’s overshadowing and large existence.

Let me not be sarcastic and biased since I really feel that some of the names are exceptional but not eccentric while some are bizarre and weird. Nicholas Cage named his son Kal el Copplola since it was the name of Superman on planet Krypton. Now which dad would not like something in common between superman and his son so there’s the simple logic. I would not mind calling my son Superman or Batman, for that matter!!!!!!

Frank and Gail Zappa named their daughter Moon Unit after an artist or author who was born in 1967.Their son was named after Dweezil, another musician whose real name was Ian Donald Calvin Euclid Zappa, born in 1969.Their next son was named Ahmet Emuukha Rodan after a musician born in 1969.This makes perfect sense to name kids after the accomplished of the past.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes named their baby girl Suri which means "red rose" in Persian and "princess" in Hebrew.I think this name is captivating and the meaning really is apt for what the actors feel for their baby girl.

Bob Geldoff named his baby Peaches Honeyblossom. Julia and Jamie Oliver named their children Daisy Boo and Poppy Honey. Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin named their baby Apple.That’s so sweet!!!!

Now its time for me to write about those names that I found really queer.

• Shannyn Sossamon named her baby Audio Science… now that’s some name that would really make the child remain "his celebrity mom’s child".
• Rob Morroow named his child Tu,that is Tu Morrow,Tu at one point or the other would certainly face humiliation among his peers.
• Mia Farrow and Woody Allen named their child Satchel who entered college at the age of 11(that’s quite an association), though this child is also known as Seamus Farrow.
• Jason Lee named his child Pilot Inspektor…quite a divergent.
• Arthur Ashe named his daughter Camera after her mother’s profession who was a photographer.

These are some of the names that really caught my attention and I had to write about them but while I was researching there was this one question, which kept on haunting me. I really want to know if these celebrities who keep such wacky names are not aware of the fact that these babies will not remain babies all their lives .Are these names a way of grabbing more limelight, a way of to being in the news forever, is it so difficult to understand that life is something much more sensitive than just making it to the columns of page 3 of some sleazy daily????
