Untitled (lol) Pt. 2

We sat down in the sand and the water was close enough to brush up against our feet.Lawrence and I were surrounded by nothing but sand and ocean. Even the road to get here was isolated. We kept quiet for a little while and it was peaceful to just hear the rushing water and feel the wind blowing through my hair as I was locked in Lawrence's arms. I closed my eyes and savored every moment of it.

"You're making a big mistake!" Alice called out as I paced myself towards the exit of Roosevelt high. Alice will be angry the next time I see her. Why? Because I'm leaving school and ignoring her advice about taking Lawrence out of my life. Lawrence had persuaded me to come over to his house. And like the love-struck idiot I am, I hopped in his car. Throughout the ride I kept to myself. Partially because I don't exactly know what to say, especially after hearing about him and a skank.

I was so absorbed in my thoughts that I didn't even realize we weren't at his house. I stared towards the water in front of me, rushing up and down the shore and over the sand. I looked around and no one was here. Lawrence and I both got out of the car and walked onto the beach. He grabbed my hand and oir fingers twined. I looked at him and he smiled, that sweet smile that I love so much.

"I thought we were going to your house." I said.

"We are. This is another property. And over there," He pointed towards a beautiful brown house, "is the beach house."

I was speechless and he led me to the house and gave me a tour. Everything looked so fragile, I moved at a slow pace to make sure I don't break anything. Pictures on the wall indicated that they had the beach house for a long time. This moment felt so awesome that I wanted to jump for joy. And as soon as Lawrence finished showing me the last room, we immediately exited towards the back to beach. I took my sandals off and let my toes slip through the sand.

"What'chu think?" He asked.

I looked all around me and said, "this is amazing."

We sat down in the sand and the water was close enough to brush up against our feet. It was even more amazing that we had complete privacy. No other beach houses shared the same beach. Lawrence and I were surrounded by nothing but sand and ocean. Even the road to get here was isolated. We kept quiet for a little while and it was peaceful to just hear the rushing water and feel the wind blowing through my hair as I was locked in Lawrence's arms. I closed my eyes and savored every moment of it.

It was interrupted by the tap of Lawrence. It was such a peaceful moment, I seemed to have fallen asleep. I woke up and it the sun was starting to go down. I quickly jolted up.

"Oh my god! what time is it?" I asked.

Lawrence sat up. "Just around 4, maybe."

"I was sleeping for four hours? Why didn't you wake me?"

Lawrence shrugged. "You look really cute when you sleep. Then I fell asleep."

I blushed slightly at his minor compliment. Then I smiled and chuckled. "We need to go back to the house so I can check my phone." I stated as I pushed myself up. Lawrence held my hand and maneuvered me back down. I was lying on the sand now with Lawrence on top of me. His brown eyes looking straight into mine and his face so close I could feel his breath.

"At least wait to see the sunset, it looks really nice."

I didn't respond much except for a simple nod because I couldn't think of nothing but of how close he was. He smirked and brushed a bit of hair away from my face. Then, we kissed! And this kiss seemed different from the other kisses we shared. They were... Soft and enthusiastic. Or it could have just been my mind thinking it was our best kiss because it was the most intimate moment we've had. Either way, it made my heart beat erratically. And I loved it!
