Unspoken Prophecy - Chapter 6
When I got there it was completely empty…
Imagine a dark misty forest in the dead of night no clouds or stars in sight only the lonely full moon.
That’s where I was. I wasn’t sure where exactly but I knew it wasn’t safe; I had to get out and fast.
"Get her!" I heard men yell then I heard six thumps as I became surrounded by six devils. They were a dark faded red with horns and cuts of black all over them but yet they still looked human. Another thump then I was pushed to the ground.
I flew up and landed on a high branch where I could see all the devils in a circle around where I was standing before. This is an awesome dream! I can fly! I looked behind me and saw big white wings! Wow. Just like the man who saved my life!
It’s you, the Velo princess." I think these devils are crazy or something what is a Velo and I am defiantly not a princess!
One of the Devils climbed the tree and in seconds was next to me but I wasn’t scared cause I knew I could take him.
"See you on your birthday princess." He grabbed my neck and pushed me off the tree my wings snapped on a branch and my head hit a rock. Hard.
I woke up sweating furiously, what do all these dreams mean!? I walked into the bathroom with a really sore back and looked at in the mirror, my back was covered in scratches "OW!" After I showered I went downstairs and crossed off the day on the calendar.
4 days to go.
I put on light makeup and ate my breakfast, just as I was about to leave I realized it was only 7 and school starts at 10 to 9. Damn! I went into the lounge to watch TV when Natalie pranced in dressed in her cheerleader uniform and hair in a high pony tail.
"Why you up so early sis?" She cheered while planking herself on the floor.
"Huh oh umm I had an early night so I got up early."
"Oh haha are you ok you seem kind of out of it."
"Yeah hey Nat (she nods her head) do you know what a Velo is?"
Natalie’s face goes from a light tan to white as a paper. Kind of like my skin which seems to get lighter and lighter every day.
"Nope I have no clue! I got to go meet Jex Bye!" She said uneasy and sprinted out of the house. (Jex is her boyfriend and quarter back)
That was really weird she never reacts like that to anything. I sat there for a few minutes thinking when Nathan walks in the room and hits me in the head which hurt way more than it should have. THE ROCK!
"What's your problem!" I yell rubbing my head which was throbbing.
"Chill I didn’t even hit it that hard you wuss, anyway what do you want for your birthday?"
"Nothing just some peace and quiet!"
"You will never get that in this family!" He laughed at me and started play call of duty.
Sometimes I really hate my family. I joined in with Nathan until it was 8 and I decided to get ready for school. I walked upstairs and grabbed my bag I started walking downstairs when the home phone rang and Harrison answered it.
"Hello Adelay residence Harrison speaking." There was silence for a minute then, "HEY! Wait I will put you on loud-speaker!" He screamed and told everyone to come into the lounge then put the phone in the middle of the room.
Me, Nathan, Harrison, Jessica, Mum and Dad all surrounded the phone confused.
"Hey guys!" It was Calum on the phone.
"Hey Calum!" We all yelled.
Then we decided to talk separately to him and I went first cause I had to go to school.
"Hey Calum, how are you?"
"Bit out-of-place seeing as I'm gay and in the army, there's not many gay people who wanna get down and dirty killing for their country."
"Haha yeah must be weird, have you killed anyone?"
Mum slapped me on the arm and shook her head so I left the room.
"Can’t talk about that but I’ll tell you anyway, only 3 and I feel bad but trying not to, and I will be home in a few days but don’t tell anyone ok."
Me and Calum have always been really close he was always there for me, so it was really hard for me when he left.
"Wow that’s scary, are you serious! I can’t wait, hey do you know what Velo is?"
"Something you should talk with Mum about but not now ok, why what happened?"
"Why can’t you tell me!? And cause I’ve been having strange dreams about devils and the dreams are so real I wake up with cuts all over me when I wake up!"
"Shit can you give the phone to Mum, you should go to school love you Shar."
