Unknown Admirer

Romantic, different, sad, love.
I’ll stay behind and observe.
I’ll watch unwillingly.
I’ll create reasons to stay.
I’ll never forget what you said.

You...you are too much.
A sight for sore eyes.
A breath of fresh air.

Features set in stone, chiseled to perfection.
Made by the mightiest of gods.
Christened with incredible physique.
Simply a god among men.

Your eyes meet mine.
I look away.
I don’t like when you stare.
I feel insecure, and every time I wish there was a way to hide my face.
I’m not up to par.

I am no angel; I was not created by the gods.
I am brutally plain beside you.

There are barriers which cannot be overcome.
Barriers that keep me away.

The things I cannot change control my dreams.
My dreams are the land, you are the ruler.

I beg of you not to stare at me with those eyes.
Perfectly crystal.
They cut through me like the sharpest of knives.

Please, don’t.
I can’t understand what those eyes are telling.
I cannot figure you out.

I really do wish you would stop staring.
It hurts to lock eyes.
I don’t want to stare into them.
I’m scared.

Unknowingly you control me.
If I look back, you will control me even more.
I will have fallen head over heels.
It will hurt more.

Don’t stare at me.
I’m going to fall in love.
And there will be no turning back.
