United Eritreans, Somalis, Ogadenis, and Oromos manifest for Peace, Freedom and Independence

As a first step in this regard, the Horn of Africa Communities in England organized a manifestation in the streets of London.
As the Neo-Nazi Abyssinian tyranny and Africa’s most appalling and inhuman dictator Meles Zenawi pursue their evil plans of war of attrition against Eritrea, mass extermination in Ogaden, division, strife and destruction in Somalia, and ethnic cleansing in Oromia, Sidamaland and other illegally annexed territories, the Unity forged among the various oppressed nations of the Horn of Africa leads to proper action and fight for a Bright Future in the Horn of Africa – free from the Neo-Nazi Abyssinian Horror and Tyranny.

More and more people allover the world start learning about the totalitarian methods employed against the numerous tyrannized nations that have been for many long decades the victims of the successive dictatorial Abyssinian regimes. The nature of the inhuman, criminal Abyssinian regimes becomes gradually known to everyone; it is a multiple coefficient of blood, torture, hatred, killings, inhumanity and evildoing.

The Abyssinian regimes, medieval monarchical, communist, and pseudo-republican have had as common denominator the racial hatred, the severe exploitation of the subjugated nations, the application of the barbaric Amhara / Tigray rule, massive humiliation of nations peremptorily considered as Black (and therefore not human but ‘lower’ and ‘insects’), an incredible array of methods of excruciating torture, and the ultimate Abyssinian plan of East African Genocide.

The bitter reality that mercilessly sealed the lives of millions of Oromos, Sidamas, Ogadenis, Afars, Anuak, Agaw, Shekachos, Kaffas, Kambattas, Wolayitas over the past 120 – 130 years is the African History’s bleakest page, far worse than the Rwandan Genocide or the Biafra drama. This traumatic African experience of the Abyssinian colonialism deteriorated since 1991 with the Abyssinian involvement in Somalia, and the divisions caused by the Anti-Somali racism of the Amhara and Tigray Abyssinians.

A more recent stage of deterioration of the Horn of Africa situation was reached with the war waged by Abyssinia, fallaciously re-baptized Ethiopia, against Eritrea, a young and much promising African nation composed by Tigrinya, Tigre, Arabic speaking, Beja, Kunama and Afar populations engaged in the path of development and peace.

The last step was made with the Abyssinian invasion of the Somali South (December 2006) and with the intensification of the Ogaden Genocide last summer, when the criminal gangster Meles Zenawi sent aircraft to perform carpet bombing in several villages and town in Ogaden.

All this becomes now a matter of growing concern for many Europeans and Americans who have been kept in mysteries, as the international media have not covered these issues sufficiently and pertinently. This is the primary task for the Diasporas of all these heroic African nations that face a real and grave threat of extinction because of the Neo-Nazi Abyssinian elites’ racist and inhuman plans.

In an earlier article, published before a month (14/12/07) under title ‘Eritrea, Somalia, Ogaden, and Oromia unite against Amhara / Tigray Ethio-Fascism‘
(http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/45824), we focused on a Conference for Peace and Stability in the Horn of Africa that was held in London on Sunday December 9th 2007, to bring communities from Ogaden, Somalia, Eritrea and Oromo together. We announced the formation of an alliance of representatives of the Diasporas of the tyrannized Eastern African nations which was geared in order to undertake the great work of raising awareness among uninformed societies and leaderships.

that took them to various neuralgic points of the English capital; in the end, they handed a letter over to the Prime Minster at Downing Street 10, and held talk with the Government Officials.

Meadna News website featured an illuminating report and published a great number of pictures from the successful demonstration; several other websites published related articles, notably the websites of the Oromo Liberation Front (http://www.oromoliberationfront.org/News/2008/Horn_March.htm) and the Ogaden National Liberation Front (http://ogaden.com/oonws170108.htm).

We will republish here the integral text of the Meadna News report, strongly recommending the website to your attention, if plain and unbiased information about the Horn of Africa is what you seek after.

We are convinced that the great event will rekindle some hopes in the hearts of millions of distressed people in the Horn of Africa region, who rightfully feel that they have been undeservedly abandoned by the entire world, while facing the merciless and inhuman thugs of the Neo-Nazi Abyssinian dictator Zenawi.

Speaking to Meadna News, an Eritrean demonstrator, Dawit Bekit, said "I have been to many peace demonstrations and this one is simply unique. We are here to make our voice heard, but even if they do not listen to our voice, we are leaving with the biggest victory, which is our unity. It is simply wonderful to see Eritrean and Somalian mothers standing side by side for one cause".

Representatives of Somalia, Eritrea, Ogaden and Oromo handed letter for the Prime Minster and held talk with the Government Officials. Brining the destructive role of the Ethiopian regime in the Horn of Africa to the attention of the UK government and urged the government stating "We, the people of the Horn of Africa, call on you today to kindly request for you to stop propping up the brutal regime in Ethiopia. We ask you to put conditions on the aid that is being given to deny the Ethiopia government using British taxpayers’ money to wreak havoc in the region. We request that you use your influence to exert the necessary pressure for the Ethiopian government to have respect for the rule of law and the rights of the people of the Horn of Africa to live in peace".

The demonstration was organised by the youth of the Horn of Africa for peace and stability of the region. The demonstration ended with speeches of representatives. Speaking to the crowd, Eritrean Youth representative, Sirak Bahlbi said "The youth came together and tried to address the terrible circumstances that our people are all currently facing and discussed how to tackle them, and we have all agreed that the people of the Horn of Africa should come together and make the their voice heard and today is the result of the decision and this peaceful demonstration should be the first step to our goal and if we work tirelessly and work together nothing would be able to stop our will of reaching our goals".
