Shower curtains are quite important to the overall ambience of your bathroom. Why, you ask? Well, one reason is that they are so remarkably prominent. Anyone enters your bathroom, and what do they see first? Voilà, it’s the shower curtain! Right in front of the nose, that too. That means, how good or bad your bathroom looks depends in a very large way on the shower curtain that you put up.

But shower curtains are shower curtains, aren't they? What's so special about them? Oh boy, how I like to write about this! Kids are extremely imaginative (mine are!) and hence we need to have a pattern that could really set their minds racing. There is a real lot to look in here. How about a shower curtain with a small window near your head and a funny cartoon drawn below it and some funny graffiti on it too? When you look in the mirror on the front wall, you will see a funny guy with your face taking a shower! Or you can go for a themed curtain to match with your whole bathroom too. Buy the curtain first, and then you can get things to match with it. One great theme is the ocean theme – you can have a shower curtain with an ocean print on it, and match it on with similar tiles, washbasins and even the bathtub itself.

Color is important to make your shower curtain unique. Select on a color first – that is easy. When your color is decided, select the pattern and then carry on the theme to the entire bathroom.
