Unique Idea for a Date? - Picnic

Most picnics we have in our lives are with family or friends. Generally in big groups. Only sometimes we are deciding to have a small one-on-one picnics with the person we love. Why not to make it more often? Especially when we want to make our beloved person a surprise, cause preparing picnic gives a wide field of surprising someone.

When planning a picnic there are always a few things that we are wondering about – the place, the food and unusual situations like for example rain. And when it comes to a date we are specially nervous about how it all will look like. Cause it must be great to make a really romantic date as a romantic picnic and also a big impression on the one person we truly love.

So the first thing we can think of is a place. It should be romantic, there is no doubt! Probably you should know it earlier before the big day happens. Sometimes a friend of us tell us that the great place to have a date is X and without knowing it we are going to X place. And coming there we are seeing that there are a lots of birch-trees that we are allergic at. And it is too late to change the place and a great possibility that the picnic is ruined. So, stick to areas familiar to you.

When we have already known the place we can think of the menu. Food that we will be serving is one of the most important things at the picnic – almost as important as place and atmosphere. If it is a first date we shouldn't experiment too much. It is better to stick with traditional picnic food and as surprise make for example unusual dessert. We should bring with us food that doesn't spoil easily like fruits, chips and cold chicken. As a wonderful drink to help celebrate the day take a bottle of wine.

Don't forget about accessories like candles or movable garden lantern that might be useful when it comes dark...cause it might get dark, I assure you, it's a date. Also other partly garden accessories partly picnic accessories should find in your basket: picnic rug, silverware, cups, napkins. All to make it comfortable and romantic – all day long.

Remembering that it is a meal on the fresh air we should have confections for all kinds of insects like flies, ants and mosquitoes. So not to change a terrific evening into a nightmare with insects in a main role. Taking also a raincoat, umbrella, flashlight or a first aid kit might not be such a bad idea.
