Unique Baby Shower Favors Ideas - How to Choose the Right Ones

As a rule, it is customary to give out baby shower favors to guests who attend the event and as way to thank your guests for all those wonderful unique baby gifts they bring to your event. They can be hand-crafted or purchased ready-made.

There are no specific guidelines when it comes to choosing the favors that you plan to distribute. There is no set price range, you must adhere to, or no limit to the number of items you can send home with each attendee.

Think of baby shower favors as small thank you gifts, as well as souvenirs representing the celebration of the much anticipated occasion.

They can actually be almost anything under the sun. Depending on your budget and the total number of guests, who will be in attendance, you can either give everyone one or two (or even three) small favors or one larger one. The choice is yours.

You may want to wrap the gifts and hand them out as your guests are leaving. This way you create more of an element of surprise.

Just about everyone loves spa products. Little soaps, lotions and other bath items make most appreciated baby shower favors. If you know (or can find out without giving away the surprise) you can present each guest with a mini basket of spa product, in their favorite scent.

If you don't like the spa basket idea, you can do the same thing with candles. They don't have to be large pillar-type candles, smaller votive size candles work just as well.

Charms are another wonderful baby shower favor. They really aren't as expensive as you might think. Pewter charms come in many, many adorable styles and are a perfectly acceptable alternative to sterling silver.

If you are looking for a baby shower favor that is a bit more unique, there are many to choose from. Crystal key chains or small knick-knack size items, in the shape of teddy bears, baby carriages or booties make great remembrances.

Corsages make out of baby socks are another rather unique baby shower favor that guests will treasure. If you are the crafty type, there are fairly easy to make. If not, they can be purchased ready-made.
