Unheard
I had no idea what this was going to be when I started.

I am a man-child,
A little immature.
Even when I'm loud,
It's like I'm unheard.
I spent a little time,
Perusing the chronic.
But I still went to school,
'Cause I was hooked on phonics.
Did I say phonics?
I think I meant phoenix.
Reborn from the ashes,
I'm like a good remix.
I'm a philosopher,
A little bit absurd.
Even when I'm loud,
It's like I'm unheard.
I have my own fashion,
And a little bit o' passion.
But I'll keep movin' forward,
Just as long as I got traction.
Damn, dibbity damn.
I am what I want to be.
And what I, what I am
What I am is me.
I am a prankster,
A joke or two occurred.
But even when I'm loud,
It's like I'm unheard.
I am immovable,
Completely undeterred.
And I will keep speaking,
Even though I go unheard.
