Unhealthy Eating Risks

There are several risks associated with unhealthy eating habits ranging from excess fat to fatal cardiovascular conditions. People who have unhealthy eating habits and a sedentary lifestyle are prone to diseases, like diabetes, osteoporosis, hypertension, obesity, etc.
The old adage 'we are what we eat' still stands true, our body reacts to the food we provide it. If we have healthy eating our immune systems will be better equipped to fight off diseases and infections. On the other hand, if we are surviving on unhealthy food, we are depriving our body of essential vitamins and proteins. When this happens the immunity levels drop and we become susceptible to sicknesses and disease.

There have been many studies linking eating habits to physiological problems which at times lead to psychological conditions like depression. If you are munching on excess quantities of cheese pizza and beef burgers then you are going to develop high cholesterol levels. Fast food is bad for you and you should drastically cut down on your intake. According to some statistics over 300,000 deaths in the US are related to diseases linked to unhealthy eating habits. Unhealthy eating not only has health implications but also has financial consequences.
