Unforeseen Secrets - Chapter 9

Picture of Evie's cabin. Please comment.
He started walking and I tried not to focus on the pain I felt from my sprained ankle.
"I see why a half angel needs a guardian."
"I'm sorry I didn't here sooner."
"I'm just glad you got here before that guy sliced my neck." I'm not sure because it was dark but I think he flinched at the last part.
"Do you know them?"

"Yes, the women's name is Amelia, she's my half brother's human girlfriend."
"Great, I can't even stand up against a human, I can't even imagine what would have happened if she was a dark angel. So who's the guy with the knife?"
"He's Amelia's brother."
"He's also human? Do they work for Alder?"
"Yes, he sends them because he doesn't want you killed, he just wants you to lead them to the book of spells and then he'll kill you himself."
"But I don't know where the book of spells is!" I yelled frustrated.

"Shhh." He stroked my hair and continued "I know, but they think you do."
We made it to the camp and Haley, who had been standing right outside her cabin, came running over to us.
"Are you okay, what happened? Are you hurt?"
"I'm fine."
"I'm taking her to my sister." Said Dominic
"What for?" Why did I have to see his sister, shouldn't he be worrying about my sprained ankle and bleeding neck? .
"You'll see." Haley gave me a quick glance then ran over to Nathanial. Dominic walked by rows of cabins and past Stella Academy, which was really big, until we reached a group of cabins that were different from the ones the students, like me got. They were bigger and off to the side there was a huge lake.

"I haven't been to this part of the camp before." He went inside the cabin closest to us, and set me down on a couch in the living room.
"Eleanor!"
"Coming." She stepped into the living room and walked over to me.
"Hi honey, I'm Dominic's older sister." I smiled and said hi back.
"So why am I here?" I asked
"Eleanor can heal you."
"Heal me? Oh you mean she's a spirit angel?"
"I see you've done your research." Said Eleanor.
"My mom told me a lot about angels."
"Why don't you tell me some of the things she told you after I heal you?"

"Sure." She placed her hand on my sprained ankle and focused on it intently, then a low light began to form. It slower began to get brighter and the brighter it go the less pain I felt. My red swollen ankle went back to normal and when Eleanor removed her hand the light faded.
"Wow, that was amazing!" Too bad half angels don't have an element.
"Thanks, I'll do your neck now." The second time was as equally amazing. I touched my neck and it was as good as new.
"My full name is Eleanor but you can just call me Eli." We were sitting on the couch next to each other, Dominic had gone upstairs to take care of Eli's five year old daughter, Emily.
"Okay."
"So tell me what you already know about angels."

"There's 5 elements, air, fire, water, earth, and spirit. Every angel has one of these elements. Each element is split into category's. Like your element for example, Spirit, If an angel has the spirit element they can either heal anything living, or be a love angel, an angel that can make two people who hate each other fall in love, or be able to alter emotions.
"Very good, only thing you left out was how love angels have red eyes. What are the categories for the Earth element?"
"There's only two for that element. 1. Controlling the weather, the larger the area of the weather their controlling the more energy it takes out of the angel, 2. Make plants, flowers, trees, things like that grow, it's not the coolest thing but."

"How about water?"
"The element water breaks into 4 categories. 1. Controlling water, as in being able to form a small bubble of water from a lake and use it to attack an enemy."
"The students use it as play to splash each other."
I laughed and continued "That's actually all I know, my mom didn't get to continue our lessons."
"Well what a coincidence."
"What is?
"I teach Beginners Elemental magic, your 8th period and we stopped right up to where you stopped with your mom."
"Wait, I have an 8th period?"
"Yes, didn't Dominic tell you?"
"No."
