Undo the Mess!
Heard about insensitive behavior on the bus. So seemingly preoccupied was the lad, he didn't even react to the aged citizen hurt, and helpless. Do you mind watching your step?...

Amidst the toil and dark, deep strife; with adversity was his daily fight.
Someone's father, someone's spouse; no one made the effort to know him,
He queued daily, kitchen fire to rouse, with bus load of people just as grim.
So lost are we after work each day, so insensitive to our common needs,
That instead of helping kith on the way, we dunk in self-centered deeds.
That day too he meekly stood, and rattled as the bus made way;
Home bound under heated hood; while beneath, the grey tar lay.
Then came the hurry and heated step of the lad so lost in his own thought.
To step off, ears plugged and all a-pep, with courtesy and etiquette forgot.
In the haste, and in the rush hour of eve, causing the old man to trip and backward fall,
That crazy need to alight and hastily heave all of himself, the lad denied conscious call.
There were others to help and others to cry, there were others to hold back abated breath,
There were those who questioned the lad, "why?", but none noticed the brush with death.
Do you mind young lad, to spare a thought and get right back to behave in a manner more
In line with your human side, beast naught; can you please never repeat the unholy furore!
