Underneath the Happy Face

A poem about hiding your pain, and having to pretend you are fine.
Look her in the face, you see a young happy girl
Remove the mask and you see a hideous, deformed creature
Frightened and scared, all alone, worthless and no good
Crying tears of blood, pain, suffering all her life

Looking for a way out, the tears run down
She puts on the mask, and all is well
Once again she is a beautiful, happy girl
But underneath it all, the tears of blood still flow.
