Under Oath

A poem about the lies of the Bush Administration…
Before you sit and testify,...
A judge asks you to rise..
Raise up your hand, and swear to god,..
That you won't tell no lies

When you testify while under oath
If you lie ,...you to jail
Its perjury, they lock you up
And wait till you post bail

Nobody in America,
Is supposed to be immune....
If you break the law and you get caught
A judge should here you sing your tune.

Politics should never stain
The fabric of the law,
If you knowingly commit a crime..
You have a character flaw.

Carl Rove, Dick Chaney and George Bush
Along with Condi, Jeb and dad
Have broken more laws while in power
Than most folks knew we had

It’s sad....

I feel so bad!
