Bayern had a fairly controversial passage to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League as they beat Fiorentina by a controversial goal in the first leg of their round of 16 game. It promises to be an interesting match as Bayern will look to avenge their defeat at the hands of Manchester United in the 1999 final of the Champions League. Recent history will again come to the fore here as Arsenal lost to Barcelona not too long ago in the 2006 final of the Champions League. Sol Campbell, who famously scored against Barcelona that time around, might fancy his chances of scoring another towering header past Barcelona...
And finally, Inter Milan's superb display against Chelsea sees them face Russian surprise package CSKA Moscow, who made their own little entry in their history book by beating Seville.
