Aerobic exercises benefit not only people, who are overweight, but they are beneficial for each one of us. Running
Running and jogging is one of the most popular form of aerobic exercise, as it can done anywhere, anytime and does not require any exercise equipment apart from a pair of jogging shoes. It is also great at burning calories and get back into shape at the earliest. The beauty of this exercise, like is the case with walking, is that you will be able to enjoy the bliss of nature and get some fresh air, if you have to go jogging in a park. However, if you are new to running, then you find it a little exhaustive, but with time, you will get used to it.
Cycling
Most of us often believe, that cycling is for children. However, have you forgotten most of the gyms have stationary cycles, which are used for a good cardiovascular exercise. At the same time, unlike running and jogging, it does not cause any type of stress on the back, hips, knees or ankles. If you are the kinds, who likes to enjoy the company of nature, then you can use the standard cycle for an aerobic workout, alternately you can use the stationary cycles for a wonderful aerobic exercise at home.
Swimming
In summers, what better than to go for a swim. If you suffer from joint pain, then this is the best aerobic exercise for you, as it does not cause much strain on the joints, yet gives a wonderful workout for the body. When you go swimming, it is recommended, you do laps, as they are the best way to burn off the extra calories.
Step Aerobics
It is an high intensity workout, which gives the extra boost by incorporating the action of stepping onto the platform to intensify the workout. It has low impact on the joints as compared to running and jogging. If you want to tone the lower body, then this is the best exercise for you.
Skipping
Skipping rope is one of the cheapest aerobic exercise, which can easily be done in the confines of your home as well. It keeps you very light on your toes and is good for timing and coordination. It is also one of the most efficient fat burners.
According to your liking and convenience, you can any one of the exercises mentioned above. When you are bored of practicing, any one of them, you can easily shift to the other one and enjoy your workout and not get bored with it, which will ensure you stay fit as well. For better results, it is best to change the exercise after every six weeks.
