Two Lovers' Link

His tears land on her cheek, like the rain that won't fall from the sky.
Like the Heaven's alone are too sad to cry
This poor little angel, this sweet little girl
Had gotten so lost in this wide open world
She thought no one had cared
She thought she was a bother
No one had loved her not even her father
She had a sweet face, aching to smile
But inside she found no joy only hurt and denial
Her heart was pure, tender, and loving
Yet no one knew she was near her ending
She didn't want to worry others with her seemingly unimportant problems
But to this little boy, born with a demons touch
She was his only way, to truly feel love
She was his angel, the yin to his yang
But he had not known
How dark were her days

She never spoke to him, of the ways she had hurt
She only wanted to help, never to receive.
She thought she didn't deserve his love
To her he was a soul to save
A life that she had come to love
A life that had gone astray
She wanted to help, to understand his pain.
She loved him with all her heart, but she was afraid
What if he didn't love her the same?
She couldn't bear to know
So she took the gun without pausing to ask
She pulled the trigger quick and fast
An impulse to say the least,
Poor demon his angel had fallen apart.
All because of his stupid heart
It told him not to love that she would leave
So after that day
He fell on his knees, he screamed out her name
He cried and wailed.

Pulled the knife from his pocket spoke her name through his tears
Put the knife to his throat and wrote her name there.
Now demons don't go to heaven as everyone would think
But there is nothing greater than two lovers' link
They would not be forced to stay in Heaven or in Hell,
But instead they lived in the in-between world
Going lifetime to lifetime always in each other's arms
Never again would they suffer the chills
In which they had gone through once
To live an eternity in each other's warmth
