Two Faces of Me
Two different things intertwined into one.
My face is a mask of halves
One side solemn while the other laughs
The Right side is dark and a thinker
On the Left grins a joking winker
The Right side is an ocean
The Left side is a breeze
Dive in and you'll open
Life filled with idle ease
A new world constructed
Tosses and turns in the meadow
Deep, dark, destructive
Sings the tune of a happy fellow
Waves roll like pages turn
It teases and giggles
In these pages anger burns
It happily riddles
Words riddle out in the mist
The Left is a fool
Too enchanting to resist
But it is fun too
The two faces are one
This song is sung
Inseparable and opposite
Just what do you think of it?
One side solemn while the other laughs
The Right side is dark and a thinker
On the Left grins a joking winker
The Right side is an ocean
The Left side is a breeze
Dive in and you'll open
Life filled with idle ease
A new world constructed
Tosses and turns in the meadow
Deep, dark, destructive
Sings the tune of a happy fellow
Waves roll like pages turn
It teases and giggles
In these pages anger burns
It happily riddles
Words riddle out in the mist
The Left is a fool
Too enchanting to resist
But it is fun too
The two faces are one
This song is sung
Inseparable and opposite
Just what do you think of it?
