Twisted Silver Tongue
I've just wanted to write about the Cheshire Cat for a while. So I finally did a poem with him as a main focus. Probably not what you're thinking though.
Leave me be, Damn Cheshire Cat
I'm sick of your spellbinding words
Can't you see, Least of all that
Or maybe your vision has blurred?
Either way PLEASE, I wish you to keep
Your unpleasant thoughts away
For all the fees, Are ever too steep
For you tongue to continue to sway
Go ahead leave, Your signature move
Fade away to naught but a grin
That would just heave, And perfectly prove
That without you my head will not spin
Though I shouldn't complain, For I'd do the same
If I had similar talents to you
I would put strain, And play a game
With the first fool my eyes came to
I'm sick of your spellbinding words
Can't you see, Least of all that
Or maybe your vision has blurred?
Either way PLEASE, I wish you to keep
Your unpleasant thoughts away
For all the fees, Are ever too steep
For you tongue to continue to sway
Go ahead leave, Your signature move
Fade away to naught but a grin
That would just heave, And perfectly prove
That without you my head will not spin
Though I shouldn't complain, For I'd do the same
If I had similar talents to you
I would put strain, And play a game
With the first fool my eyes came to
