Twirl of Light and Dark

I am flying and I am scared,
Am I truly prepared?
If you see me up in sky,
You will give an astounded cry.

As you see a twirl of light and dark,
You see my journey which I must embark,
And I'm anxious because the light is losing,
I wish instead of fighting I could be choosing.

But my anger is winning,
My patience is thinning,
And the light is dying,
But lately I've been trying.

Because you are worth it,
You help me to fit,
You helped to get the light,
It's you who made it shine so bright.

So while I've been fighting you,
And waiting for us to fall through,
You kept me up and supported us,
I don't know why you went through so much fuss.

I know, I'm mean but it's because I'm scared,
I truly am unprepared,
By please I know its selfish but don't give up on me,
But I won't mind if you want to be free.
