Single twin mattress size is 39″ x 75″ which is enough for one person. This size mattress is commonly used for daybeds, bunk beds or as a guest room bed. Although this dimension is fine for children, adults may have a problem when it comes to length.

Extra Large Twin Mattress
Extra large (XL) twin mattress size is 39″ x 80″, i.e. 5 inches longer than the regular one, hence works well for people who are tall. It is commonly used in dorms and if put together in pairs, it forms a king size mattress.
