Oh my god! Uhh my parents are so mean! I stormed up to my room which I shared with my twin sister Aubrey. I slammed the door and snapped her out of her book. "Scarlett do you mind I was reading."She's always been the book worm out of the two of us. "Sorry"I mumbled. "It's ok I'm getting bored with it anyway. So what did they do this time?" "They won't let me buy a new dress for karaoke night Friday" I exclaimed. "Scarlett our birthday is tomorrow why do you think they won't let you buy a dress!"she said. "Oh yea that's a good point"I said. She looked at me wide eyed and then we burst into a fit of giggles "You forgot our birthday?" she asked "No! I just didn't register that our birthday is the reason"I said quietly "You goofball"she laughed as she through one of her pillows ( which I quickly dodged) at my head.
*The Next Day*
"Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday dear girls happy birthday to you."my parents and baby brother sang in a very off key tune. "Bree! Letty!" my baby brother Romeo exclaimed as he and Aubrey hopped onto my bed. "I can't believe my girls are sixteen" my mom blubbered as we began to open presents. The first presents Aubrey went for were the ones that she knew were books. And just as I suspected she got The Last Song and Dear John. Books she had been dying to read for months now. I went and opened the cards first. After the cards I went for one of the smallest presents of them all. It was from Romeo. It was a bracelet with black and pink beads and charm that said live laugh love. "Thank you Romey"I smiled at him and kissed his head. The next present was from Deb. Aubrey grabbed the same one out of her pile. We looked at each other and ripped it open. As we opened the boxes we squealed in delight. Inside the boxes were two dresses one black and white, one black and red. We immediately knew what they were for. Karaoke night!
*** Karaoke night***
Aubrey and I had been waiting for this night for weeks. We had signed up to sing songs by Kate Voegele. Aubrey was singing 99 Times and I was singing No good. The announcer went up on stage and introduced the next singer. It was a freshman from my school. She was in a band with her cousin, sister, and boyfriend. She was singing According To You by Orianthi. I knew she could pull it off she had done the guitar solo at our talent show earlier this year, and it was great.

I'm thirsty"I told Scarlett "I'm gonna go get a soda. Do you want anything?" "No thanks"she said. I walked to the bar and asked for a Mountain Dew. While I waited for my drink I looked at the door. Just as I looked Alexander and Xavier Thomas walked in! I told the Bartender I would be right back for my soda, I ran as fast as I could to Scarlett knocking a few drinks out of people's hands in the process. "Scarlett"I yelled. "What"she looked at me concerned. "The twins! They're here!"I practically screamed with joy. She looked at me with wide eyes. "Aubrey you better not be kidding with me!"she said seriously "Scarlett I'm not kidding!"I said just as serious

I saw Aubrey when I walked in. I knew that if Aubrey was here Scarlett was here too. They never went anywhere without each other. I looked at my brother. Just as I figured he's staring right at Aubrey. I paid for my brother and I, grabbed my guitar and went to find a table. I could see Scarlett from where I was sitting. I've liked her for some time now but she doesn't know it. See my brother and I have a reputation at our school we're the bad boys and The Shaw twins are the bad girls. We like to cause trouble but we're supposed hate each other. And the girls like to stick to those rules very well.
** Scarlett**
I couldn't believe what my sister was telling me. The Thomas twins rarely went to any social outings. But nevertheless I was excited. You see Aubrey and I have a reputation as the bad girls ad they are the bad boys. We're supposed to hate each other but my sister and I couldn't help ourselves. No girl could with curly black hair and piercing green eyes. It was my turn to sing. I went up on stage.

"I gotta go too I'm playing guitar with him."Alexander said standing up. "Do you have to go?"I asked not wanting him to leave. "Yes but I'll be back soon"he said and gave me a peck on the lips before walking away. "Are you two dating now?"my sister asked curiously. "Um..... I think so. Well it's not official but after that I'm assuming so"I said and smiled as I watched him get warmed up. "Oh.... cool"she said obviously disappointed about the way things were going with Xavier. "Hey sis don't worry your time will come. He obviously likes you. I can see it in his eyes."I said. "You really think so?"she asked with a longing look in her eyes. "I know so!"I reassured her. All of a sudden I heard the drums countdown. I watched intently as Xavier and Alexander started playing their guitars. It was one of their originals. The song ended. It was amazing. We gave them a standing ovation. Before they could be asked to do another song. They ran off stage towards us.

I smiled as Alex wrapped his arms around Aubrey's waist. Xavier walked up a minute later. "Ready?"There was a chorus of yups and yeas from the rest of us. As we were walking out the door I felt Xavier interlace his fingers with mine. I looked up at him. He just smiled and winked. We went to the Dairy Queen one street over. It had gotten colder since we had left the house. And stupid me forgot to bring a sweater. I shivered, Xavier must have noticed because he offered me his sweatshirt. I took it graciously and interlaced my fingers with his again. He smiled and kissed me on the cheek.

"Alex"I called trying to get my brothers attention. He looked up and walked over to me. "Let's get out of here, it's getting late besides....""I don't want to leave Aubrey yet and besides I'm not ready to go home"he whined cutting me off. "If you had let me finish I would have said that we can drive the girls home to get clothes and then we can head to our house and have a movie night. They can sleep in the pool house."I said frustrated. "Oh..... hold on I'll ask."he said.
I walked over to where Scarlett was standing back to. "Hey"I said startling her as I wrapped my arms around her waist. She leaned back into my arms and I wrapped them tighter around her to keep her warm. I smiled. She fit perfectly in them. "Would you and Aubrey like to come over and have a movie night with Alex and I?"I asked silently begging her to say yes. "Yeah definitely but on one condition"she said. "And what would that be"I asked playing along. "Take me home so I can change first"she said. "Hmm.... I'll have to think about that one. I guess so."I said . "Hey Alex"I called to him across the parking lot. "Get in the car."He nodded. I grabbed Scarlett's hand as we walked to the car.
** Scarlett**
We pulled onto my street. "It's the second house on the left"I told Xavier who was driving. Aubrey and I got out of the car and ran into the house. We went up to our room to get changed. I put on a pair of jean shorts with black and white layered tanks and my black flowered flip-flops. Even though we still had they guy's sweatshirts on we both grabbed our own just in case. I ran to the bathroom and quickly put half of my hair up. When I walked back to our room Aubrey had packed a bag for me and for her. She was in jean shorts with gray and pink layered tanks and white flip flops. "Ready?"I asked when she noticed I was in the room. "I think so"she said as she looked around the room. "K lets go. The boys are waiting"I said . We ran out the door and got in the car. "I missed you"Xavier said looking at me. "You're to sweet for your own good."I said. We arrived at their house and grabbed our bags. When we got out of the car Xavier and Alexander were waiting for us. I grabbed Xavier's hand and pulled him back to wait while they got ahead. He opened his eyes and smiled. "Oh..... I get it now."he said. I laughed and ran to the house. I knew that Aubrey had seen the whole thing when I opened the door and she yelled I told you so from the den. I set my bag down and went to go find Aubrey. She was sitting on Alex's lap in the chair. They had already put The Hangover in and were waiting patiently to press play. Xavier walked in, sat down and patted his lap. I sat down and snuggled into his chest as he put his arms around me. He smelled really good. Alex pressed play and the movie began. Aubrey and I had watched this movie so many times but it never got old. The movie ended and Alex turned it to a basketball game. "No!!!!"Aubrey and I whined in unison. The boys looked at each other. "What do you want to do?"Xavier asked me. "I don't know anything but watch a basketball game!"I complained. "Want to go swimming? We have a heated pool."Alex offered. I looked at Aubrey. "Sounds good to me. Are you up for it Aubrey?""Yeah, that sounds like fun."she said. "Ok we'll be right back."I said getting off Xavier's lap. "Okay you guys can either get changed in the pool house or you can get changed in the bathroom upstairs."Xavier told us. "I'm gonna go get changed in the pool house."I told Aubrey as we walked out of the den.

I looked at my brother as the girls walked out of the room. "Dude can you believe in one night we've fallen in love with the two most beautiful girls in school?"I asked in disbelief. I couldn't get over the fact that I was dating Scarlett Shaw. I knew Alexander couldn't get over it either. He'd been crushing on Aubrey for a while now. Until now she'd never really taken any interest in him. Tearing me away from my own thoughts Alex pointed out that we better get our swim trunks on. We rushed to get changed and get to the pool. We cannon-balled and splashed around till the girls came out. The first thing I thought when I saw Scarlett was wow. She was in a two piece white bathing suit with paint splatters all over it. She waded in and swam over to meet me. I grabbed her by the waist and kissed her softly on the lips. She smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck.

I can't believe I'm dating Xavier Thomas! Well we're not officially dating but give or take. Part of me was screaming with joy and excitement but another part of me was wondering what people were gonna say if we show up to school holding hands or if they catch us kissing in the hall. We're not supposed to like each other. Oh the drama of high school. Do I need mention the fact that he is a whole grade ahead of me? Ya know what I love Xavier and I know he loves me. So who cares what anybody thinks of us. As long as we're happy that's all that matters.

I couldn't concentrate during my classes. Especially the ones that I had with Xavier. It was just luck that we had to be partners on a project. When lunchtime rolled around, I was practically dying of anticipation. I grabbed an apple for lunch and went to find Xavier at the gazebo. When I got there he was trying to talk to Alexander who was kissing Aubrey. Xavier was pacing back and forth cracking his knuckles, he had a rose in his hand. "Dude can you stop making out with your girl for five seconds and help me out here? "he pleaded. She's mine! She's actually mine! I couldn't believe it. Scarlett Shaw loves me back. Just as we pulled out of our hug the bell signaling lunch was over rang. I was disappointed but we left the gazebo anyway. "I have to go to work but I'll see you at my house after school right? "I asked. She was already halfway out of hearing. "That's a rhetorical question."She called as she walked out of sight. I smiled to my self as I walked to the car. On the way to work I wasn't really paying attention. I heard a horn honk and the next thing I see is a tractor trailer coming straight at me.

I was in Algebra when my phone went off. Even though we are allowed to have our phones on the teachers still don't approve. It was a text from Alex saying that Xavier had been in a bad car accident and was in the hospital. My body went into shock. I didn't know what to think. My boyfriend was in the hospital! I ran out of the room with no warning. I had tears streaming down my cheeks. I ran into history to grab Aubrey and Alex. We ran to Alex's car. I'm positive we were way over the speed limit but at the moment I didn't care I needed to get to the hospital asap! When we got there. I jumped out of the car and ran to the front desk. "Xavier Thomas"I squeaked out. She gave me is room number and I bolted to the elevator with Alex and Aubrey right behind me. He was in room 349. When I reached his room. I stopped to catch my breath. In my head I was silently praying that he isn't dead. I took a deep breath and opened the door slowly. I let out my breath. I hadn't realized I was holding it. He was fine for the most part. Aside from the fact he had a broken leg, a sprained wrist, and a black eye. He smiled and patted the space on the bed as I walked in. I went and sat next to him. I snuggled into his chest. "You scared me half to death."I whispered into his shirt. He kissed the top of my head and whispered "I know and I'm sorry. I love you"In spite of myself I smiled.
At that moment Alex and Aubrey walked in. I watched Alex's face he had the same reaction I did, he let his breath out and walked to the bed. He stood there for a minute, looked at me with a smirk on his face, then he punched Xavier right in the shoulder. I was shocked at first but then I burst into a fit of giggles at the expression on his face. "Dude what was that for?! "Xavier yelled at his brother. Alex who was laughing along with me said "That. Was for being stupid and almost killing yourself."He said. Xavier rolled his eyes and held me tighter. "Did they say when you'll be able to go home."I asked. "They said as soon as the x-rays for my leg come back and they make sure that I don't have to have surgery I can go home. "he said just as the doctor walked in. When he saw me he smiled. "Dumbo over here hasn't stopped talking about you and how amazing you are since he woke up."he said giving Xavier an annoyed look. Xavier blushed and looked away. "Ha-ha well he's not so bad himself. "I said. The doctor smiled "Well Xavier, I have good news. You don't need surgery so you can get your brother to sign you out and you're free to go." "Really?! That's great!"we exclaimed in unison.

I knew Alex was relieved when they walked in the room. Xavier was hurt but not to bad. Alex and I had gone down to the cafeteria and gotten a soda and some lunch seeing as we got dragged out of class right before lunch. When we walked into his room he and Scarlett were cuddling on his bed. I knew what Alex was about to do so I turned away before I could give it up by laughing. I heard Xavier complain and I turned back. Everybody except for Xavier was laughing. A few minutes later the doctor came in and told him he could go home. To celebrate we went to subway, got sandwiches and headed to the beach to have a picnic. When we got to the beach there happened to be another couple there. It was Alex and Xavier's friend James and his girlfriend Aaliyah.

I finished and the crowd went nuts. I felt good. I could see Xavier looking at me from the back. It was Aubrey's turn now. The music played and my smile grew wider as she started to sing.

She finished perfectly. The crowd went wild again. I looked back, Alexander had a look of pure awe on his face. Aubrey made her way back to the table we were sitting at "That. was. awesome!"she said happily. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Xavier and Alexander making their way towards us. Aubrey and I made it look like we were deep in conversation. "Ladies mind if we join you?"Xavier asked looking directly at me. "I don't know what do you think sis?"I asked Aubrey with a smirk. "Oh I suppose"she said also with a smirk. Xavier sat down next to me while Alexander sat next to Aubrey. Aubrey was obviously having a good time so I turned my head to Xavier who happened to be checking me out. "Do you mind ?"I asked irritated. "What?"he said acting innocent. "Your eyeing me like a piece of meat and let me just say I'm not liking it."I said fuming. "Scarlett calm down. I didn't mean to offend you."he said sincerely. I calmed a bit. "Scarlett and Aubrey how would you like to go get ice cream with Alex and I after we're done?"Xavier asked kindly. I looked at Aubrey, she was practically jumping with excitement. "Sure we'd love that"I said. "Great!"exclaimed Alexander. I happened to notice he and Aubrey holding hands. I rolled my eyes and looked back at Xavier. It was his turn to sing, I couldn't wait to hear him. "Wish me luck ladies"he said standing up. "Good luck!"we said in unison. "I'll see you later beautiful"he said as he tapped me under the chin affectionately. I blushed and looked away, I could hear him chuckle softly.
~ Aubrey~
"I gotta go too I'm playing guitar with him."Alexander said standing up. "Do you have to go?"I asked not wanting him to leave. "Yes but I'll be back soon"he said and gave me a peck on the lips before walking away. "Are you two dating now?"my sister asked curiously. "Um..... I think so. Well it's not official but after that I'm assuming so"I said and smiled as I watched him get warmed up. "Oh.... cool"she said obviously disappointed about the way things were going with Xavier. "Hey sis don't worry your time will come. He obviously likes you. I can see it in his eyes."I said. "You really think so?"she asked with a longing look in her eyes. "I know so!"I reassured her. All of a sudden I heard the drums countdown. I watched intently as Xavier and Alexander started playing their guitars. It was one of their originals. The song ended. It was amazing. We gave them a standing ovation. Before they could be asked to do another song. They ran off stage towards us.
** Scarlett**
I smiled as Alex wrapped his arms around Aubrey's waist. Xavier walked up a minute later. "Ready?"There was a chorus of yups and yeas from the rest of us. As we were walking out the door I felt Xavier interlace his fingers with mine. I looked up at him. He just smiled and winked. We went to the Dairy Queen one street over. It had gotten colder since we had left the house. And stupid me forgot to bring a sweater. I shivered, Xavier must have noticed because he offered me his sweatshirt. I took it graciously and interlaced my fingers with his again. He smiled and kissed me on the cheek.

"Alex"I called trying to get my brothers attention. He looked up and walked over to me. "Let's get out of here, it's getting late besides....""I don't want to leave Aubrey yet and besides I'm not ready to go home"he whined cutting me off. "If you had let me finish I would have said that we can drive the girls home to get clothes and then we can head to our house and have a movie night. They can sleep in the pool house."I said frustrated. "Oh..... hold on I'll ask."he said.
I walked over to where Scarlett was standing back to. "Hey"I said startling her as I wrapped my arms around her waist. She leaned back into my arms and I wrapped them tighter around her to keep her warm. I smiled. She fit perfectly in them. "Would you and Aubrey like to come over and have a movie night with Alex and I?"I asked silently begging her to say yes. "Yeah definitely but on one condition"she said. "And what would that be"I asked playing along. "Take me home so I can change first"she said. "Hmm.... I'll have to think about that one. I guess so."I said . "Hey Alex"I called to him across the parking lot. "Get in the car."He nodded. I grabbed Scarlett's hand as we walked to the car.
** Scarlett**
We pulled onto my street. "It's the second house on the left"I told Xavier who was driving. Aubrey and I got out of the car and ran into the house. We went up to our room to get changed. I put on a pair of jean shorts with black and white layered tanks and my black flowered flip-flops. Even though we still had they guy's sweatshirts on we both grabbed our own just in case. I ran to the bathroom and quickly put half of my hair up. When I walked back to our room Aubrey had packed a bag for me and for her. She was in jean shorts with gray and pink layered tanks and white flip flops. "Ready?"I asked when she noticed I was in the room. "I think so"she said as she looked around the room. "K lets go. The boys are waiting"I said . We ran out the door and got in the car. "I missed you"Xavier said looking at me. "You're to sweet for your own good."I said. We arrived at their house and grabbed our bags. When we got out of the car Xavier and Alexander were waiting for us. I grabbed Xavier's hand and pulled him back to wait while they got ahead. And what would that be?"he asked curiously. "This"I said as I grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him down. When our lips met I swear I felt sparks. I pulled away to see his reaction. He opened his eyes and smiled. "Oh..... I get it now."he said. I laughed and ran to the house. I knew that Aubrey had seen the whole thing when I opened the door and she yelled I told you so from the den. I set my bag down and went to go find Aubrey. She was sitting on Alex's lap in the chair. They had already put The Hangover in and were waiting patiently to press play. Xavier walked in, sat down and patted his lap. I sat down and snuggled into his chest as he put his arms around me. He smelled really good. Alex pressed play and the movie began. Aubrey and I had watched this movie so many times but it never got old. The movie ended and Alex turned it to a basketball game. "No!!!!"Aubrey and I whined in unison. The boys looked at each other. "What do you want to do?"Xavier asked me. "I don't know anything but watch a basketball game!"I complained. "Want to go swimming? We have a heated pool."Alex offered. I looked at Aubrey. "Sounds good to me. Are you up for it Aubrey?""Yeah, that sounds like fun."she said. "Ok we'll be right back."I said getting off Xavier's lap. "Okay you guys can either get changed in the pool house or you can get changed in the bathroom upstairs."Xavier told us. "I'm gonna go get changed in the pool house."I told Aubrey as we walked out of the den.

I looked at my brother as the girls walked out of the room. "Dude can you believe in one night we've fallen in love with the two most beautiful girls in school?"I asked in disbelief. I couldn't get over the fact that I was dating Scarlett Shaw. I knew Alexander couldn't get over it either. He'd been crushing on Aubrey for a while now. Until now she'd never really taken any interest in him. Tearing me away from my own thoughts Alex pointed out that we better get our swim trunks on. We rushed to get changed and get to the pool. We cannon-balled and splashed around till the girls came out. The first thing I thought when I saw Scarlett was wow. She was in a two piece white bathing suit with paint splatters all over it. She waded in and swam over to meet me. I grabbed her by the waist and kissed her softly on the lips. She smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck.
** Scarlett**
I can't believe I'm dating Xavier Thomas! Well we're not officially dating but give or take. Part of me was screaming with joy and excitement but another part of me was wondering what people were gonna say if we show up to school holding hands or if they catch us kissing in the hall. We're not supposed to like each other. Oh the drama of high school. Do I need mention the fact that he is a whole grade ahead of me? Ya know what I love Xavier and I know he loves me. So who cares what anybody thinks of us. As long as we're happy that's all that matters.
{ Monday at School }

Alex had gone ahead to find the girls. It was all I could do not to just leave the car in the middle of the parking lot. I wanted to see Scarlett so badly. I parked the car and made my way to the schools entrance. She was standing next to the locker she shared with Aubrey. They were laughing at something Alex had said. I snuck up behind her and covered her eyes with my hands. She squealed and pried them off. When she saw it was me she immediately jumped into my arms giving me a hug. I laughed and held her tight. "Happy to see me?"I joked.
"Very."she said giving me a peck on the lips. "Well I'm happy to see you too.""Hey, I got to get to class, but will you meet me in the gazebo during lunch?"I asked. "Um... sure why"she asked with a worried expression on her face. "I'll tell you when I see you. Don't worry it's nothing bad."I said with a wink. She smiled and turned back to her sister.

I couldn't concentrate during my classes. Especially the ones that I had with Xavier. It was just luck that we had to be partners on a project. When lunchtime rolled around, I was practically dying of anticipation. I grabbed an apple for lunch and went to find Xavier at the gazebo. When I got there he was trying to talk to Alexander who was kissing Aubrey. Xavier was pacing back and forth cracking his knuckles, he had a rose in his hand. "Dude can you stop making out with your girl for five seconds and help me out here? "he pleaded. Alexander pulled away from Aubrey "Dude why are you so nervous all your doing is telling her how you feel."he chuckled. "I know, I know but still I've never felt this way about any other girl I've dated. She doesn't throw herself at me like all the other girls. She knows what I like and what I don't, she plays hard to get. She dresses so that she doesn't look like she's not wearing anything.

"Oh thank god your here I want to ask you this before I go crazy"he said wide eyed. I giggled and sat down next to him. "Uhm... how do I say this? Scarlett your no picnic alright"I frowned where is he going with this? "Your weird, even, but under that, you're the most amazingly, astounding, wonderful girl, woman that I've ever known..."he whispered. Did I just hear that right? She's mine! She's actually mine! I couldn't believe it. Scarlett Shaw loves me back. Just as we pulled out of our hug the bell signaling lunch was over rang. I was disappointed but we left the gazebo anyway. "I have to go to work but I'll see you at my house after school right? "I asked. She was already halfway out of hearing. "That's a rhetorical question."She called as she walked out of sight. I smiled to my self as I walked to the car. On the way to work I wasn't really paying attention. I heard a horn honk and the next thing I see is a tractor trailer coming straight at me.
** Scarlett**
I was in Algebra when my phone went off. Even though we are allowed to have our phones on the teachers still don't approve. It was a text from Alex saying that Xavier had been in a bad car accident and was in the hospital. My body went into shock. I didn't know what to think. My boyfriend was in the hospital! I ran out of the room with no warning. I had tears streaming down my cheeks. I ran into history to grab Aubrey and Alex. We ran to Alex's car. I'm positive we were way over the speed limit but at the moment I didn't care I needed to get to the hospital asap! When we got there. I jumped out of the car and ran to the front desk. "Xavier Thomas"I squeaked out. She gave me is room number and I bolted to the elevator with Alex and Aubrey right behind me. He was in room 349. When I reached his room. I stopped to catch my breath. In my head I was silently praying that he isn't dead. I took a deep breath and opened the door slowly. I let out my breath. I hadn't realized I was holding it. He was fine for the most part. Aside from the fact he had a broken leg, a sprained wrist, and a black eye. He smiled and patted the space on the bed as I walked in. I went and sat next to him. I snuggled into his chest. "You scared me half to death."I whispered into his shirt. He kissed the top of my head and whispered "I know and I'm sorry. I love you"In spite of myself I smiled.
At that moment Alex and Aubrey walked in. I watched Alex's face he had the same reaction I did, he let his breath out and walked to the bed. He stood there for a minute, looked at me with a smirk on his face, then he punched Xavier right in the shoulder. I was shocked at first but then I burst into a fit of giggles at the expression on his face. "Dude what was that for?! "Xavier yelled at his brother. Alex who was laughing along with me said "That. Was for being stupid and almost killing yourself."He said. Xavier rolled his eyes and held me tighter. "Did they say when you'll be able to go home."I asked. "They said as soon as the x-rays for my leg come back and they make sure that I don't have to have surgery I can go home. "he said just as the doctor walked in. When he saw me he smiled. "You must be Scarlett"he said "Yea how did you know?"I asked curiously. "Dumbo over here hasn't stopped talking about you and how amazing you are since he woke up."he said giving Xavier an annoyed look. Xavier blushed and looked away. "Ha-ha well he's not so bad himself. "I said. The doctor smiled "Well Xavier, I have good news. You don't need surgery so you can get your brother to sign you out and you're free to go." "Really?! That's great!"we exclaimed in unison.
~ Aubrey~
I knew Alex was relieved when they walked in the room. Xavier was hurt but not to bad. Alex and I had gone down to the cafeteria and gotten a soda and some lunch seeing as we got dragged out of class right before lunch. When we walked into his room he and Scarlett were cuddling on his bed. I knew what Alex was about to do so I turned away before I could give it up by laughing. I heard Xavier complain and I turned back. Everybody except for Xavier was laughing. A few minutes later the doctor came in and told him he could go home. To celebrate we went to subway, got sandwiches and headed to the beach to have a picnic. When we got to the beach there happened to be another couple there. It was Alex and Xavier's friend James and his girlfriend Aaliyah.
