Tumor In My Head

It's about real life and how quick things can change. But through life’s many trials and tribulations are my greatest triumphs…
In the darkened part of the year 2004, my life changed within a moments notice
You think it will never happen to you, as the doctor stands at the end of your bed
His spoken words I will never forget, you have a tumor in your head and it must come out so I went into the darkness
Nov 12, 2004 I slept peacefully and God stood by my bed, he will never forsake me and healed my illness with a touch of his hand
Seven hours went by, without knowledge I lye sleeping as the tumor was removed from my head
I awaken later on that day, but something was wrong, I lost several years of my life that was gone from my head
Trying desperately to remember what was lost, but the damage was done and all was lost
As I began to travel on with my life, struggle is the word I describe at best, tears I cry for the loss
Living alone in my shell, uncertainty and forgetfulness has now become a part of my life past, present and what will happen next
I am strong, I am a survivor, I am women who has a desires for life no matter the test
I am not the reason, God knows best and without his power of divine love, he is the reason why I am blessed
God's promise, for he will never leave you, nor forsake you and lives within me
So down the road I shall travel and see where life takes me, but I will never be alone for God is the one who carried me through the storm
