Tritace is a drug that is usually used for treating high blood pressure. It is also used in the treatment of renal conditions, some heart problems and also to prevent stroke, myocardial infarction and heart attacks. This drug is available in brand names like Ramipril and Altace. It is an ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) inhibitor that reduces the production of angiotensin II, that is responsible for constriction of blood vessels, which in turn, results in hypertension.
