Trisomy Syndrome
Trisomy Syndrome also known as Edwards Syndrome gets its name from John H Edwards who discovered it. Seen amongst one in 3000 births, the genetic disorder is fairly rare. It occurs due to extra part of 18th chromosome. It usually leads to death arising from heart malfunction and other disorders. The chances of Trisomy Syndrome are higher in a late pregnancy.
