Trick or Treat

"This is going to be awesome!"
"Hell yea it is!" I yelled with excitement. Halloween has finally come, and my costume is sick.
Me and Alana are wearing black ultra miniskirts, black lace corsets, big black boots that go up to our knees, goth makeup and black fishnet tights.
"O.M.G! I wonder what the guys will say when they see us!" said Alana excitedly.
"I think I have a few ideas in mind", I said to Alana.
When it comes to guys, they can be sooo predictable. They'd probably start drooling, then hit on us.
The two guys Alana's talking about are Michael and Andy. Alana, as you already know, has a crush on Andy. And as for me, well let’s just say Micheal is just my type of guy.
"So...where should we go look for them?" asked Alana.
"See... we don’t need to look for them because I already know where they're going to be."
I could tell Alana had no idea what I was talking about. So I wasn't surprised when she said, "WHERE!?"
"Well, they told me they’ll be in the forest getting drunk. So... I was wondering... you feel like getting wasted tonight?"
I could tell that she'd definitely chicken out if it wasn't for the fact that Andy would be there.
"Shit, you only live once." That's Alana's way of saying 'hell yes!'
Alana would do anything for Andy. She's like puddy in his hands. She'd liked the guy for who knows how long, and she knows absolutely EVERYTHING about him.
Andy's a jerk to Alana. He treats her like a door mat ever since he found out that she would do anything for him.
That’s the difference between me and Alana. She'd do anything with a guy she likes. On the other hand, I'm not like that. I'd never do something with a guy that doesn't love me.
I wish I could convince Alana that Andy's no good for her, and that she deserves better. But she never agrees with me. Alana can be pretty stupid even though she’s really smart; education smart.
Anyways... Michael is a very nice guy. I just wish he would get up the courage and ask me out, since I'm too chicken to ask him, and he should hurry up before I loose my patients. :).
Who has patients anymore? Nobody! So why should I be patient then. Everyone s telling me to "calm down" or "be patient", but why should I?!
Life is like a game of Bingo, you never know what you'll get next. It’s kind of stupid to refer life as a game of Bingo, but its true.
So here I am, talking to my best friend about what guys reaction will be to our costume, when clearly all we have to do to find out for sure, is to just show them.
"Come on, Come on! Let’s go! I wanna show them," shrieked Alana.
"Ugh. OK, Alana. We’ll get there. God, don’t have a heart attack on me."
I swear Alana must of taken ecstasy or something, because she’s going crazy! I wonder what she'll do when we ACTUALLY see them.

"I see them!" yelled Alana.
Right now we're on the path right beside the forest. It's really dark out, so I'm surprised Alana actually sees them.
"Shhhh...be quiet. I want to surprise them. I can’t WAIT to see their faces when they get a look at us."
Winds blowing, birds sleeping, the full moon high in the sky. God it's such a beautiful night. All Halloween’s eve, when the dead awaken and roam the earth. Yup, this is my kinda night.
There they are, just barely hidden from the trees, but enough for people not to look twice. I see goosebumps forming on my arms, and I'm starting to tremble. Great. I haven’t noticed it was so cold out until now. Where is everybody?
A wolf howls in the night.
"That’s them."
"Are you sure," Alana asked me nervously.
"I’m sure," I tell her, "We'll see soon." I hope.
It's very dark, almost pitch black. The moon is the only source of light. In the back of my mind, a voice is telling me to get near people, but I can't get myself to listen to it. Next to me Alana's making heavy breathing sounds, her palms are sweaty as we hold hands. Alana refuses to let go of my hand, and I don't blame her because it’s really dreepy out here.
Ok, now I’m positive its theme. I'd recognize those hair cuts and jeans anywhere.
Alana sensed it too, and squeezed my hand.
I’m looking at Alana when I notice her freeze, and watch her face turn to a puzzled expression.
"Wa... What are they doing?"
I look over towards where she's staring, and then I freeze as well. I see blood, lots of blood, on their mouths.
Jesus! They're on top of another person, drinking their blood!
"Alana, RUN!"
We both unfroze and began sprinting the other direction.
I didn't notice Micheal and Andy were behind us until Micheal brought me to the ground, and it hurt like hell. It felt like my whole body just collided with a driving car. I know for sure some bones are broken.
Micheal flipped me over on my back. As I looked up, I met two red eyes, and a savage smile. This isn't the Micheal I know, It’s instead, a mad, psychotic, blood thirsty vampire!

"Sam! sam!" Alanas cries to me were just a mere whisper. Then once again, everything went dead.
I could not talk, I could not wake up, so the best thing for me to do right now, is just dream.
I dream of my mother and father still alive. I dream of Christmas day, with my parents so happy. I stop dreaming of good things and instead, I dream of nightmares when I hear the sharp noises of something drinking something. I wonder what it could be.
My stomach aches, my head hurts, it feels like my left arm is broken, and I can barely move. I’m just going to give up, and hope someone finds me before I bleed to death.
Wait! I'm bleeding! Oh my god! My head won’t stop bleeding! I try to cry out, and I manage to get one "help" out. I hear someone.
"Samm!... Sammmm!..... SAMM!" It’s getting louder every time until I hear it practically beside me.
