Trendy Plus Size Clothing
Tired of your friends making a mockery of your size? Bored of being told that its necessary to get into shape? Worried that your vital statistics do match those of a supermodel? Then you've just got it right.

Plus size does not mean that you have to be on a constant lookout to hide those luscious curves. Make the most of what you have, by shopping the right way. Looking beautiful does not mean that you have to be a size zero. The secret for looking beautiful lies with you; it lies in the belief that you are beautiful. So pull up your socks and start over.

For Women

Dresses
For the plus size women who are tall enough to carry a dress, it is important to accentuate the curves. So go in for a low waistline, which creates the illusion of good figure. An open neckline can make the look very appealing. Avoid shiny materials but add the blings in moderate or any such adjective proportions. Avoid wearing stripes in any form. Pastel shades give a fresh look no matter what the occasion is. Try and keep the length of the dresses just till the knee or maybe even slightly lower will do.

T-Shirts
There is good news for the plus sized women who thought t-shirts were meant for the supermodels. V-neck t-shirts look good if you have a few extra pounds. They bring attention to your gorgeous face. Scoop neck t-shirts can also look good if you are wearing it to a club. Don't be afraid to sport bold colors.

Casual Wear
Plus size clothing loves the empire waist line. It totally hides the belly fat and emphasizes on the smallest part of your waist creating an hourglass figure. Tiny flower prints are a great outfit for a weekend outing. Team them up with plus size denims or skirts.

Sweaters
The cashmere and wool/cotton mix sweaters are very much in vogue for the curvy bodies. Plus size women can go in for V-neck sweaters and cardigans or a sweater that creates a vertical line along the middle to give an illusion of a lean body.

Pants
Plus size women with heavy hips must avoid wearing tapered pants as they make your hips look bigger. The straight fit on the contrary gives the body a tall look, bringing out the hidden height.

For Men

Shirts
Vertical stripes look great on plus sized men as it makes the silhouette longer. Avoid layering when you wear shirts as it adds to the size. Buy the size that fits you correctly. The fact that baggy shirts make you look thinner is a myth!

T-shirts
V-necks or round necks are a good option. These necklines draw attention to your neck. So, even if you have a double chin, it slims down the whole look.

Pants
For casual wear, look out for the dark corduroys with slim stripes. Pinstripe pants look fabulous for office wear. Remember to wear a belt, always.

So what if you weigh a little more than normal. Dressing up will help you build your confidence. Cherish those curves; there are many that many would kill for them! After all the more you weigh, the more there is to love of you!
