Treats of the Three Dogs
Three silly dogs get an extraordinary treat.
Once, three hungry dogs were wondering around in the streets of a town. They came in front of a house where a feast was going on. The dogs smelled the sweet aroma of food.
The youngest dog went in to get some food. But the people inside shooed him out with a stick. He came back to his companions. When his companions asked him of how he got to eat, he tried to save his prestige by saying that he was given a hot treat!
Hearing this, the elder dog went inside. The people were very angry and threw hot water on him. He ran back outside. He, too, tried to save his prestige from being punctured. He told that he was also given a hot treat (but actually, it was hot water)!
The eldest dog heard all this and cheerfully performed a low gallop and rushed inside. This time the people were furious. They tied him up and beat him as much as they could. Now the dog came outside. On being asked how his treat was, he answered that the people were so generous that they did not let him come out and served him with extraordinary foods (that is beating)!
