Travel Abroad, A Boon?!

Passport, visa, immigration and custom;
All and more is done by the ‘system’.
Fast, perfect, efficient;
Bill Gates’ babe is excellent.
Weigh the baggage and proceed for check in;
Pay for excess or will not be let in.
Boarding pass is collected; proceed to custom and security.
VIP, minister or whoever; all are same under their scrutiny??
Out of custom and security’s suspicion;
Traveler is arrested inside a prison.
Waiting lounge; await the boarding call.
Restless is one and all.
Busy on laptop or cell;
Eyes shifting from watch to announcement wall.
Boarding is announced; ‘warm’ is the welcome by the air ‘doll’.
This wish comes in an unearthly hour.
Sleepy is the traveler, oh… dear!
Sit and sleep!!??
Impossible; sleep gives a slip.
Seat belt fastened; now begins the ordeal.
Economy and business; different is the seat and meal.
Luxury class is on higher level.
Even then, uncomfortable is the travel.
Degree of discomfort may differ.
This ‘seated travel’ none prefer.
Family may flaunt its members’ ‘travel abroad’ or globe trot.
Flying members only know how much they rot.
Going abroad is great; not the travel.
Tedious and tiring it is; that it lets out a vowel.
