Trapped Love [3]
When he returns... Keep reading. Comment please.

That evening I spent all day with Danny. We went down to the Movies, then bowling, and then a bit of shopping. I loved being around Danny, he made all my troubles fade away, and put a smile on my face with every word he said. We sat outside his house, underneath the apple tree.
"Silvia," said Danny, as we sat in silence. "I have some really important news…"
I looked at him and smiled, giving him the queue to carry on.
"Do you remember, in seventh grade, when I spoke about my brother?" He asked. I started into space trying to think, and then soon nodded. "Yes, Erin Swan right?" I smiled. He nodded. "He's returning," he whispered. "He's finally coming out of jail!" My eyes lit up and my face turned into horror shock. I tried to force a smile on my face when I saw Danny staring at me.
In year seven, Danny told me how he was tight with his older brother. They did everything together, just like me and Danny. But then his brother got into the wrong crowd, and started doing drugs, drinking, and fights. He ended up getting caught for stabbing someone and dealing drugs, and had spent his five years in prison.
"You don’t seem so happy." He sighed, putting his head down.
"No, it’s not that," I smiled, putting my arm around him. "I just have all the thoughts of what you told me before, about him.."
"I guess that’s understandable," he said. "But can't you just forget about the past now? He's my brother, he's not a bad person." Danny said. I raised my eyebrows.
"He is a bad person," I quietly said. "He's been in jail for five years!"
"Oh for goodness sake Silvia," he snapped at me, standing up. "Yes, he was, but not anymore!" Danny was staring right at me. I could see he felt disappointed still in his brother, but he was trying to shove it away.
"Look, I’m sure when Erin comes to see you, you will see a change." I smiled. "But, he might still be off edge, that’s all I’m trying to say."
"And what do you mean by that?" He asked, raising his eyebrow.
"Well, you haven’t seen him for years. He's spent half his life in jail, so he might not be this bubbly, fun brother you're thinking about…" I smiled, but Danny’s face dropped.
I thought he was going to scream and shout, and cry about the horrid past, but he didn’t. He stood there and dropped his head, his hands in his pocket. We stood there together in complete silence. His front door soon opened and his mum appeared.
"Danny dear, are you coming in any time soon?" She asked. "I’m planning to take you to Pizza Hut." Danny’s mother was a lovely little women. She had short blonde hair, and wore little dresses even in the card. She was a chubby little lady, with a beautiful smile. I was ever so close with Mrs. Swan. She would invite me over whenever she saw me, she’d ask about me all the time, and she’d pick me up from school sometimes.
The only thing about Mrs. Swam, was she was very confused about my family. "Does your mother like me?" She’d sometimes ask. "Does your father have a problem with me?" She’d ask. "How come you always seem so sad when you're at home?" She’d whisper. She was a nosy little women, but I guess she cared? Mum didn’t like her. She’d call her ‘fat’ ‘nosy’ ‘annoying’ and many other words, but personally I got the hint that she was slightly jealous. Mum hardly did anything for me, she didn’t drive so she couldn’t drop me to school- and when she had a taxi, she’d never let me go in it without an argument. Mum was awfully thin, like scarily thin, and Mrs. Swam wasn’t, and I could think of some other things I guess?
Dad didn’t like Mrs. Swam because of her husband. She had a lovely husband, he had big arms, and a very good built. He worked in the gym, unlike dad- who didn’t have a job. Because dad hated Mr. Swam so much, he suddenly showed hatred towards Mrs. Swam too. But sadly, Mr. Swam is no longer around, as he died three years ago.
"I’ll come in soon." Smiled Danny, as he looked up to his mother.
"You're welcome to come in anytime Silvia," she smiled at me. "And hey, you can come Pizza Hut if you like too?" She offered.
I was hoping Danny would say something that would make me more enthusiastic about going to a meal with them, but he didn’t. I saw his face, he didn’t even seem bothered. He was still looking to the ground, in his own world.
"Erm, I don’t think I’ll be able to come today," I smiled. "I have some things to do," I lied. "But thanks for the offer." Mrs. Swam smiled, and then walked back inside. Danny was following his mother inside, so I quickly tapped his shoulder.
"Bye Danny." I said sweetly. He looked up and smiled, "Bye Silvia", he said, and closed the door behind him with a little smile.
I stood there, staring as I tried to hold my tears back. What have I done? Did I say something wrong? I just didn’t want Danny to get hurt if his brother didn’t even show up, or didn’t even show interest in him, I didn’t mean to upset him.
I crossed the road and strolled up my lane into my house.
