- Connect your iPod to the computer with the help of the data cable that comes with it.
- Let your computer recognize the device, iPod in this case, connected in the USB slot. This will not take too long.
- Now go to 'My Computer' and click on the iPod drive that will be displayed along with the other drives.
- Next, hit the 'Tools' tab on the task bar which is at the top of the screen. Now hit folder options from the drop down menu. Here you will have to select the 'view' tab and check the option 'show hidden files and folders'.
- Now that the hidden files and folders are visible, you will see a folder by the name iPod_control.
