Tradiations Are For My Parents Chp. 1

CHAPTER 1

I stepped out of the Black Escalade and looked at Westchester prep
"Miss Chu lee where is your dorm this year?" Gregory my butler asked
"Dorm 15 I’m rooming with Monique this year" I said with a smile. Monique is my #1 girl and best friend since pre-k. My dorm this year was a huge studio loft decorated to our liking. What?! Our parents could afford it. My mom is CEO of a wedding planning company and my dad is a music producer. Monique’s mom is a fashion designer and her dad is an accountant, she’s black too. I got to my dorm before Gregory did and was happy to see Monique and Corey there. I jumped on Corey’s back and kissed him on the cheek. Yes jumped he’s 6"5’ and I’m 5"5’.
"Hey Corey Hey mo" I said
"Hey" They replied in unison
"How was yalls summer?" I asked getting down off of Corey’s back
"Good; spent my summer at papa’s house in Barcelona" Mo said she is extra white but could be very ghetto when needed

"I hung out at home with my dad" Corey said. Corey’s dad was the second closet thing to Jay-Z and was neck in neck with Diddy in the world of hip-hop and his mom was a run way diva she was neck in neck with Trya Banks.
"What you do babe?" Corey asked me
"Ummm y'all really don’t want to know" I said
"Sure we do" Mark said as he walked into our dorm followed by Drake, Keira, and Wesley. Mark was the coolest gay Asian guy on the planet that you will ever meet. Drake is Mo’s boyfriend and he’s so hood. Keira and Wesley are twins and the most annoying pair I’ve ever met but also the coolest.
"Yea what did you do this summer Diva" Keria said Wes nodded and Drake went to stand by Monique. Gregory walked in and set my bags in my room
"Miss Chu lee is there anything else I can help you with?"
"No Gregory that’s it I’ll see you at Thanksgiving" I said
"Would you like me to tell your parents?" he asked
"NO just gramgram and ONLY gramgram" I said and hugged him. He hugged me back then left

Everyone was staring at me. Great now I HAVE to tell them
"So what did you do?" Mo and Keira asked
"Yea what did you do?" Wes asked "You’re normally the first to tell what you did over the summer"
"I got the worst news of my life" I said
"What happened?" They all asked in unison
"You know how in history class in China and Japan they had arranged marriages?" they all nodded. I pointed to me smiled weakly and held out my left hand that had a silver wedding band encrusted in diamonds on it. Mo and Kiera gasped. Wes Drake Mark and Corey just stared at me.
"Chu lee?" Corey said he only called me Chu lee when he was mad upset or confused. I guessed he was all 3
"Are you serious??" Monique asked me. I looked at the floor and let my long black hair fall in front of my face

"Who are you getting married to?" Mark asked
"Jamie Whin" I mumbled and internally cringed
"WHAT?!?!?!" They all yelled at me
"But he hates YOU!! Cant you refuse or something??" Corey asked. I shook my head
"No it would dishonor my family" EWWWW I sound like Mulan
"But what about us?" Corey asked
"I love you with all my heart and soul" I said taking his face between my hands "I mean it" I said and smiled at him
"I love you too" He said and kissed me deeply
The first day of school was horrible. Everyone kept talking about me. My guess was that Jamie told everyone. When lunch came I was confronted by the Diamonds. There the top bitches and think they rule the school but they don’t we do. Everyone calls us the Entourage. Anyways the head rock head Lily August came up to me when I was sitting at the table with everyone else.
"WHAT THE HELL" She yelled at me

"What the hell is right? What do you want?" I asked eating a piece of my tiger sushi roll
"How dare you get married to my man!!?" She said flipping her blond her all over the place
"Your man?" I asked
"Yes my MAN!!! Jamie broke up with me because of you!!" She yelled making everyone at nearby tables stare at her
"Lower your voice dear you’re to loud" I said and ate another piece of sushi "Besides it’s not like I have a choice to marry him" I paused "OH MY GOD!!!!" I nearly screamed "He’s been kissing you hasn’t he?! Oh ewww now I have to disinfect him before our wedding I don’t want to have your germs" I said laughing which sent everyone else at the table in to a fit of giggles and made Lily turn red with anger.
"Listen here you geisha if you do anything to prevent me from getting him you’ll regret it" Lily said with a sneer
"Oh goody, goody, goody, I’ve made Lily August’s black list" I said sarcastically "And between the two of us I’m not dressed like a slut dear", I said gesturing towards her outfit which was a tight mini skirt and a hot blue tube top that showed WAY too much cleavage and even more of her chest, her mouth dropped.
"Lily if you EVER and I mean EVER need help with your wardrobe just ask" Mark said with a sly smile.

"Lily dear close your mouth you’ll catch fly’s" Keira said
Lily gasped and stormed off followed by the other diamonds. We laughed but I was the only one to notice Jamie coming towards us. Great I guess Lily was only the calm before the storm.
"Well, well if it isn’t the groom to be" I said eating a piece of pickled ginger
"Chu lee can I talk to you" Jamie asked. I stood up and so did Corey "Alone" he said Corey sat back down and glared angrily at Jamie, I rolled my eyes and grabbed my trash and followed Jamie to the courtyard
"What do you what Jamie?" I said
"Why are you still hanging out with him??" He said anger written all over his face
"I’m still around Corey because he’s my boyfriend and the love of my life!!" I yelled. Good thing no one was around to hear me.
"How can you have a boyfriend when you’re engaged?" He asked trying to contain his anger. Over the summer we spent

A LOT of time together and I made him mad once and he hit me left a bruise the size of a baseball. When I told my parents they said "I shouldn’t have made him angry and I wouldn’t have gotten hurt." But when I told gramgram she said "I should have kicked his ass" I was gonna do it to if he ever hit me again. I was well trained by my papa in M.M.A before he passed.
"Well I can do what ever I want until the day I say I do. Got that?!?" I said getting in his face. He grabbed my shoulders and pushed me into the ragged brick wall that surrounded the courtyard. I then kicked him behind the knee which made his knees buckle and he fell over on to his back. I put one foot on his throat and the other was on the ground firmly and I positioned my arms in karate style

"Don’t touch me or I swear to god I WILL kick your ass, and just because you broke up with that Barbie doll of a girlfriend of yours because you’re engaged doesn’t mean I have to break up with Corey and I have no intentions of doing so. So you can go back to Lily if you want. I honestly don’t care" I said and walked off. I was beyond mad and on top of that I had a new bruise. I didn’t go back to the lunch room but I did run into Corey.
"Watch where you’re-"I cut my self off when I saw it was him "I’m sorry babe." I said
"It’s ok. What happened to your shoulder?" He asked and touched my newly formed bruise from where Jamie had thrown me in to the wall
"Jamie" I said and winced in pain I guess he did more damage than just a bruise because the back right side of my shirt was soaked in blood. Corey lifted my shirt to see where the blood was coming from. I had several small cuts and one large gash. I was not fond of blood as a matter of fact it made me sick to my stomach. So I was glad Corey was there to carry me to the infirmary.

When I woke up I was tucked in my bed in my dorm room with all my friends staring at me
"Hi guys" I said and tried to sit up
"No don’t sit up" Kiera said and beckoned me to lay back down I propped myself up on some pillows
"How much damage did he do to me?" I asked all the boys looked mad Corey and Drake especially but Mark wasn’t there.
"You had to get 10 stitches. You had one really bad gash" Monique said
"What!" I fussed "I have stitches?? I should have kicked his ass" I said getting mad. A bruise was one thing but he permanently marked me how dare he!!
"Well you can’t kick his ass on and empty stomach" Mark said carrying in a tray of food. Mark was a great cook. On the tray was my favorite food that Mark made. Chicken pasta pesto bake
"Oh yum you made my favorite!!!" I said clapping for Joy "Thanks Mark" I said and dug in to the hot plate of pasta
"So what are we going to do??" Wes asked

"Your going to keep Jamie as far away from me as possible and that stupid Rock head of a girlfriend of his" All the boys nodded
"So you sayin we can’t jump Jamie? He deserves it for what he did to you." Drake said balling his hands into a fist
"I never said that all I’m saying s if you do jump Jamie don’t get caught" I said and everyone laughed. After an hour or so everyone had went to there dorms and mo went on a walk with Drake leaving me and Corey alone
"Chu lee" Corey said
"Yes" I said looking up from my work that I had missed because I didn’t go to my afternoon classes

"Babe what are we going to do? I don’t want to loose you. I was going to give you this after graduation" He said and pulled out a small black box that held a Silver locket in it. On the inside of the locket was a picture of me and Corey, back in 9th grade when we both had braces on one side, and on the other side it said will you marry me? I put my hand to my mouth and looked at him. I started to cry I was mad because I was being forced to marry Jamie but so happy that Corey asked me. But how could I marry Corey when I was engaged to Jamie
"Oh no. Don’t cry. Please don’t cry everything will be ok. Just don’t cry ok?" Corey said frantic he was never good with tears. I smiled and put my locket on.
"I love you" I said and kissed him deeply
"I love you too" he said and kissed me back.
