Removal of Toxic Black Mold
The mold not only damages the appearance of the walls or other objects it grows on, but also downgrades the quality of air. Here are a few tips on toxic black mold removal.

Moisture is what the mold thrives on, so the first thing that needs to be done is identify the source of moisture and work towards eliminating it. Have the humidity of the room checked, if it exceeds 45%, then have the entire room dehumidified, but this cannot be done on outside walls or locations. Water tanks or broken pipes are the main sources of moisture. Have an overall inspection done and fix, repair or change the damage. Read more on dehumidifier.

As mold spreads through air, it is imperative to block its escape and prevent it from depositing its spores anywhere else. Start with one room or a location at a time, and contain each place completely. You can do so by using plastic sheets sealed with duct tape to cover doorways, windows, vents, or any other opening from where the spores of the mold may escape. Some people have suggested the use of exhaust fans near the contaminated area. This is done because while cleaning the mold, it will get disturbed and settle around the same place or fly out; the breeze from the exhaust will pull it out. One can even install an air purifier while cleaning black mold.

Once all precautionary measures are in place, it is time for actual physical removing black mold. To clean black mold, use a sponge dipped in soapy water, clean out as much as mold as possible. If the mold is dry, then lightly moisten it. It is easy to remove moist mold rather than dry ones. Use a scrapper for stubborn molds. Once the mold has been completely cleared off the object, disinfect it to kill the remaining unseen specks of spores. There are some specific black mold treatment for removal available like cleaner, detergents and specific mold disinfectants available in the market, one could use them too, else the normal disinfectant will also work well. The cleared area should be completely dry. Once all the mold has been cleared, carefully remove and discard it all into plastic bags. Seal the bags and then dispose them off.
